Whodunnit?
It was time to get a little more organized, share some information with each other. She had a talk with that bigface kid, Jaime, to see if he could do anything to shield them from Stacy's prying eyes and he said he had a few ideas, so a meeting place was chosen, and it was time to gather.
Cybil had a good authoritative, shouting voice.
"Everyone, listen up! We're meeting down in the city near that big tree. Grab whoever you see and get down there."
Indeed they were. People were starting to gather there.
[ooc: Instead of little subthreads, everyone post in one thread as people arrive. Try to keep the convo general, like everyone talking to each other, instead of devolving into private conversations.]

One more down.
Vincent and Wednesday were fast becoming another of the bug's least favorite people. Roaches were hard to kill, but ripping them open was more than just incapacitating, and there's only so much a bug could do without functional legs. They tried to herd both of them in the direction of the leg-chopping blue thing. Several tried to swarm Vincent and take chunks out of his arms and legs.
Meanwhile, the bullets didn't seem to be doing too much good. It hurt them, yes, but roaches are hard to kill. Most of those using bullets were without super powers, and these roaches had long since adapted to dealing with baseline humans.

It was possibly the quietest he'd been in a long time.

Like hell were they gonna grab her if she could stop it.
"C'mon, where's the giant cans of RAID when we need it?" She yelled through the chaos.

Everything was squishy inside.
She let one get dangerously close, then thrust her sword like a fencer, down it's gullet, twisting and then withdrawing it to guard against the next.

"REPEL!!" He brought his palms together and changed his spell. A force-field blasted away from him, pure force energy repelling bug and selectee alike.

Ax was slammed into the side of a building by Vincent's friendly-fire, leaving him stunned and unsteady.

Another pile of bugs was dispelled with a blast of blue energy, as a very disgusted looking armored superhero climbed out of it. They hadn't been trying to kill him or drag him off. It was like they thought he was a kindred buggy spirit or something.
"Ohmygod they tried to feed me a piece of Hudson!"
Wait, where was Paco?
No.
NO NO NO NO!
But he couldn't just run off looking for him. Unfortunately it did not work that way--he hated that it never worked that way. Not when you were a superhero.
But Paco knew that. There was some comfort in that at least.
Looking around the battlefield and noticing who was missing, and who wasn't, he quickly noticed the common thread.
Powers. No powers.
Except for one.
He called up one of the comm frequencies on a hunch, hoping their comms had been in with their belongings.
"Superboy! You're half-blind! You're not going to find them!"
