Whodunnit?
It was time to get a little more organized, share some information with each other. She had a talk with that bigface kid, Jaime, to see if he could do anything to shield them from Stacy's prying eyes and he said he had a few ideas, so a meeting place was chosen, and it was time to gather.
Cybil had a good authoritative, shouting voice.
"Everyone, listen up! We're meeting down in the city near that big tree. Grab whoever you see and get down there."
Indeed they were. People were starting to gather there.
[ooc: Instead of little subthreads, everyone post in one thread as people arrive. Try to keep the convo general, like everyone talking to each other, instead of devolving into private conversations.]

"Uh, going back to the possessing and the "Ghost of Christmas Yet To Future", if we actually happen to be haunted we do have an early warning system. Namely me. It won't work unless the ghosts are within attacking range, mind you, but it's at least something."

"Like what? Ghost radar? How does it work so we'll know."

A deep breath. "As for what to do, we NEED to see the rest of this ship, find a bridge, find controls. For that, we need schematics. For schematics we need someone that can figure out Stacy's computer systems to get a hold of 'em for us. We also might need people who are capable of it to try to bust through walls, if we do find closed off areas that we need to get into. That may lead to getting smacked around or those 'Violations,' but I figure we can ration them out. All of us have fifteen of them. We have over thirty people. Between all of us, that's over four hundred and fifty times we can screw around with stuff to figure out who's keeping us and how to turn this boat around before we get this 'punishment' of hers."
She looked around. "Aside from bug-boy here, does anyone else have experience with computers? Are any of you good enough that if we can find a way to get you access to Stacy's computer systems or something--you might be able to hack in and get us some information?"

He was glad to finally be able to offer something. He'd been silent for the rest of the meeting--listening and absorbing the facts others had gathered, but... He preferred being useful.

"You're Robin. Like...Batman and Robin."

Jesus Christ he was. Costume was a little different, but--
"Nah, kid, I don't think you got the memo about the whole...'fictional in other universes thing.' Though I didn't recognize you at first because you look nothing like Burt Ward, and you don't have the pixie boots and horrifying short-pants. "

He filed away the note about other universes as fiction for a later date, when he had more time to work out what that might mean for him, and for some of the others he'd met.

He waves a hand slightly. "The best actor," he goes on, "would probably be found in an ad about constipation medicine..."

Nipple suits. God.
To Wednesday, she said, "Duly noted. If it gets us home and doesn't hurt anyone, no questions asked."
She clapped her hands.
"Okay, enough with the movie talk people. Any other high-caliber hackers? Show hands."

"I've designed a firewall or two." Tony admitted. "Usually I'm more concerned with keeping people out of my business." These kids seemed bright enough, though he was beginning to wonder if this Ax boy was some sort of idiot savant.

At least they could be sure about the idiot part?"That's three. good. If the hacking results in violations, they can be spread around."
She looked around at the assembled group.
"Unless there's anything else, this is what we're going to do--I don't think we can catch whatever shadow things are flitting around, but the sooner we're off this damn thing, the sooner we can stop worrying about them. If you see them, ONLY attempt to apprehend if you have enough firepower in your group. Otherwise, do NOT engage. Right now, after Jaime lets the shield down, we're going to be looking for a promising console and try to help fend off the tentacles so the hackers don't get grabbed away if Stacy gets frisky. Although I do want a group to break off and look for Hudson. He's the only one not here, and I don't like he's been wandering off alone and that I haven't seen him in hours--unless somebody else here saw hi--"

For all the good it'll do him.
"Oh God, this isn't happening! This isn't happening! FUUUUUUUUUCK! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK! OH GOD! OH GOD!"

"Jaime, shield down! Bri, watch the rear! Eyes and ears open, make sure nothing tries to jump out at us from the buildings. Weapons out, powers on: move!"

"Stay close," she said rather protectively.
Granted, in his true form he appeared to be more than capable of taking care of himself but he wasn't in his natural form. And since he'd made it clear to her that he wanted to keep his true form a secret for the time being, until he was comfortable with his own safety, he was stuck in the body of a teenage boy. A teenage boy that appeared to have little to no way of defending himself.
