All work and no play makes you a dull boy! [Open Post/Event]
Who: Splicer, and anyone ever! Yes that means YOU!
Where: Hunter's Pad
Summary: Party till you drop, release some stress, just have fun!
Warnings: Open party event, discretion is advised!Excessive partying
After the announcement over the network, Splicer set off to break out the snacks he had stored, the drinks and set the out on the club floor. He wanted people to have fun and enjoy some care free time. Morale had been fluctuating as of late and a good head kept the troops going in times of strain. What better way to pick up morale than a good fun time with friends and just kicking back and doing your thing?
That's why he was now occupying his booth and taking any requests for the people that came by, greeting and waving at fellow crew and friends. He intended to make this as fun as possible for each and everyone. Good times seemed to be scarce in the future to come, so he'd do his best to make this one of the good ones.
[[OOC: Open event post, feel free to post an open thread for your character, or post to someone who's already there! You can make requests at the DJ booth, and you can choose to interact with Splicer as well, just make sure you put it in the header. Other than that, just have fun!]]

Her hand twitched under Ahri's, taking a moment to relax. "Yeah, I know---it helps to know someone in all this mess. I found a home base, I'm as caught up as I can be. It's just...this alternate universe mess."
Part of her questioned the decision to mention this at all. But perhaps Ahri would have information.

"Well, it's true that even to seasoned veterans it can be a lot to take in, but alas, all we can do is trek forward and never back. When we start doing that we begin to seal our downfall." Ahri said with certainty as she nuzzled next to the other girl.
"Really, it's a pretty straightforward life most of the time unless events or battles occur. Go about your daily life, train, work, explore, be a part of one of the departments, lazy about or have fun. In any case, things come when they come as far as our current procedures... Things might change in the future however..."
Specially if this whole rebellion thing occurred.

"And you cope by...dancing?"
no subject
After all, knowledge about everything was also something that Ahri yearned incredibly so.

With some hesitation, she looked up at Ahri and asked. "Can you...show me?"

She immediately grabbed Sally's hands and pulled her along with her gently onto the dance floor, a big smile on her face the entire time. Once there, she let her go and moved a few steps back before nodding.
"From what I heard and read, there's lots of different ways you can do it! Me? I love to feel the sounds and the atmosphere and move however my body desires it~ It's an amazing feeling to have your body react as such, and lots of fun!"
To demonstrate, Ahri began to dance a very sensual and yet happy dance. Her hips swaying to the beat, her arms moving in sync and her tails flowing as if on an air current. It was quite the curious display.
no subject
It looked far too raw, too expressive for Sally's tastes.
"People are staring," she hissed.

She tried some shimmying. It was a little less awkward than Ahri might expect, but her swaying still lacked experience. And there wasn't any extra help for her either.
"Like that?"
no subject
"C'mon just enjoy yourself. Feel the happiness of simply having fun!"
Ahri twirled happily, her tails flowing elegantly in motion behind her as she danced. It was clear that she was having a blast, and yet she never stopped paying attention to Sally.

Finally, they finished one song. She walked back to a stool, leaning casually against it. "All right. It's exercise. I'll give you that."

"Is that how you evade in combat?"
no subject
"Having a very flowing fighting style could help with this yes. I for one however am not much for close-quarters combat. I prefer to stick at range and not let them get close and making myself very hard to target if you do manage to get close."
no subject
"So you have some type of ranged weapon? A gun?"
no subject
"I'm a mage~ It's really convenient to be honest~" She mused with a small smile.
no subject
"Magic is dangerous, but it must have been useful to you."
no subject
"And yes, it has come with it's great perks I have to admit~" She mused, knowing all too well that it also had it's flaws.

To push the subject forward, she materialized her Soul Eater Orb, a large, and magical blue orb which she played with as simply as a one would with a ball. She let it dance over her with the sway of her body, it bounced over her tails and she kicked it up and let it spiral down her body before sending it off in a direction where no one would get hit and it came back on it's own accord as if tethered.
no subject
"Can your dance be an enchantment?"
no subject
"Why do you ask?"
no subject
Sally wondered if she could be offending. Would she be punished with magic? Hopefully not, but she prepared to run just in case.
