All work and no play makes you a dull boy! [Open Post/Event]

Who: Splicer, and anyone ever! Yes that means YOU!
Where:  Hunter's Pad
Summary:  Party till you drop, release some stress, just have fun!
Warnings: Open party event, discretion is advised! Excessive partying

After the announcement over the network, Splicer set off to break out the snacks he had stored, the drinks and set the out on the club floor. He wanted people to have fun and enjoy some care free time. Morale had been fluctuating as of late and a good head kept the troops going in times of strain. What better way to pick up morale than a good fun time with friends and just kicking back and doing your thing?

That's why he was now occupying his booth and taking any requests for the people that came by, greeting and waving at fellow crew and friends. He intended to make this as fun as possible for each and everyone. Good times seemed to be scarce in the future to come, so he'd do his best to make this one of the good ones.

[[OOC: Open event post, feel free to post an open thread for your character, or post to someone who's already there! You can make requests at the DJ booth, and you can choose to interact with Splicer as well, just make sure you put it in the header. Other than that, just have fun!]]

Maybe you can learn how to relax more in this place! Even if there's a war going on.... Hmmmm...

Isn't it dangerous to relax in a war?

Naw, it's worse to be on edge! That's when you're easily tricked since you're on such so jumpy. You can't let the enemy read you you know?! So being at ease makes it hard for the opponent to plan out what they can do since your reactions aren't as obvious as if you were jumping, or aiming at every suspicious event, noise or stuff!

I dunno... Smashing things always seemed to work in the past. Its not the most delicate strategy, but giant robot trying to smash your guys is pretty much my specialty.

Maria scratches her head and shrugs a bit.

Oh, well, if it's worked before then good! I guess the enemies of my world were much different... And these new enemies from this war, well I haven't seen yet! So I guess we have to wait and see!

I guess it may just be synch rates and available resources too. Like I said, I tend to pilot a big angry slab of metal that can repair itself mid combat.

Hee~ I bet it'll be exciting seeing you in combat! I can't wait!

I'm looking forward to actual gear combat too. Better than being all cooped up in here.

I'm sure something will happen soon! No event stays idle for long, specially not something as intensive as a war.

There's all that talk about revolts and the alien torturing and all, but it really just seems to be talk so I'm unsure.

Hmm, well, I've heard of worse things from all these wars and such, so i wouldn't count it out. I wonder what everyone's going to do if it all happens.
