Zouichi, for once, wasn't in the City on patrol. Instead, he was making a systematic search of the city's streets, looking for telltale stray robot parts that might lead him to what he was looking for. Unfortunately, during SHODAN's attack, not all of the crew (except him! okay not really) had been terribly judicious about the property damage they were inflicting on the nearby buildings.

So there was rubble everywhere. Oops.

But it had been in the middle of a robot attack, right? Sometimes you needed to break a few eggs to make an omelet, right? RIGHT.

"So we should detect a surge and buzz when it's working. My reader's out."

Lash totally did not give Zouichi a stare at he left, unconsciously touching her new bracelet that Zetta had given her. Maybe she should ask him about his love life lat---WHAT WAS SHE EVEN THINKING.

Right. Back to thinking about this technobabble thing instead.

"Yeah, once the ranger stuff doesn't work, it's a good sign. Then it will be a question of boosting the power signal and making sure none of the doses are too fatal."

"I'm sure we can get it done, it's just a matter of doing it in a timely manner... We don't know when things will blow up one more, it seems that as of late we get more and more circumstances thrown at us. Thankfully, they're not all incredibly serious."

Hopefully, they wouldn't lose any others, but in war, that was unavoidable...
