I believe that eventually we'll get what we're after [Open]
Hana had, of course, been napping when he’d felt something that stirred him.
Slowly, he opened his eyes and yawned. Rubbing his face, he sat up and ran a hand through his untameable mane of hair.
He could have sworn—There! He’d felt it again. Suddenly wide awake, he pushed himself up off the sofa he’d been resting on and stood still, waiting for the feeling again.
It was faint. But it was there. A pull. A call. And he knew it. He’d been waiting for it. Hoping for it.
He looked around. He was alone aside from aside from Taro, who was napping up on one of the rafters. Clearly, he hadn’t felt anything.
Well, he wasn’t really alone, because he was at Ruffs place, so the ghosts were here. He watched them to see their reaction. Most of them were pretty set on their own business and a few were curious about what had suddenly woken Hana up (because he had a reputation of sleeping like one of them), but none gave an indication of sensing the same thing he had.
But he was certain- Yes! Definitely this time. A little clearer. More desperate.
This time, a few spirits stirred and looked about confused before turning to Hana for confirmation. He didn’t say anything, he could feel something stirring within him and he wasn’t sure if he should let it out.
Summoning his resolve, Hana broke into a run and burst out of the front door, making his way down the street like a shot. The spirits called after him, but he ignored them in favour of that weaker cry that tugged at his soul.
**********************************
It seemed like forever but he followed the calling, it growing stronger and stronger until he reached the Weapons and Possessions Lockers. Hana knew this place. He’d been a million times looking for…
Well, needless to say, he’d never found it. And he’d not been back since the robot battles.
But today, something was different. From within was a feeling that practically screamed for him to come closer. It was so familiar. It coiled around his soul and beckoned him.
As he went inside, he walked with purpose. His previous visits where often desperate, disorganized searches and always fruitless, but this time, he knew exactly where to go.
Hana didn’t know how long he walked in the locker, or how far in, the place was huge, but he did know he never felt lost, the call told him exactly where to go.
Finally, there. On one of the lower shelves. Breath catching in his chest, he crouched. This was it. The moment of truth. He didn’t realize he was shaking until he raised his hand to gently push aside some kind of sword and see what lay behind it.
There it stood there. So bold and clear some far part of couldn’t believe he’d ever missed it.
A mortuary tablet.
Hana suddenly became aware of something wet trailing down his cheeks and he didn’t know he’d been holding his breath until he let out a sob. The feeling was now pulling him with such desperation he felt part of him might tear off.
His fingers reached out and wrapped around black, deceptively simple looking object. From within the smooth, black carving a wave of emotions washed over his soul.
It was so happy to see him. And he was so happy to see it. And so sorry he’d not found it sooner. So sorry that he’d ever given up. How could have been so cruel and thoughtless?
The tablet wrapped his guilt up in understanding and forgiveness.
Hana pulled it to his chest and wept openly for what seemed like hours as the soul from within embraced his.
Once his face was completely tear stained and droplets of salty water had coated the top of the tablet, Hana opened his swollen, red eyes and looked at the object he’d pressed against his heart. A grin of pure joy broke out across his face.
“Hey, buddy.”
“I missed you.”

Hana was laid on one of the patches of grass in Ruffnut’s garden, grinning madly up at the sky. He’s completely immersed with chatting the ghosts around him, which obviously means to a lot of people he appears to be laughing and joking with himself, but it seems Hana couldn’t care less, because his face holds a look of total happiness.

Calling where they found one another a garden was being generous. Ruffnut wasn't sure the soil was capable of growing anything new yet, but with the planter boxes already in place it seemed like a waste not to try. So she'd picked up some seeds the last time they were on a planet and was planning on planting them as soon as she had figured out a decent method to get enough water to the garden. After all the grass was growing well enough and she had at least one creepy looking tree.
For now Hana was there and she smiled brightly bounding over to meet with him. "Sup dude?" She called and felt a shiver as she walked into the cloud of spirits surrounding him. Hana had been doing his best to teach her to be more aware of them, but the best she had managed so far was to feel a chill when they were close to her, and only when they wanted her to see them she could see faint shapes. But nothing defined. Maybe it was her overlord training, or maybe it was living with the ghosts for months. Alot of it was Hana's help, but she was proud of what little progress she had made.

Hana looked up when the spirits told him Ruffnut was coming. He grinned, pushing himself up off the ground to rush her in their usual greeting tackle. “Yo!”

"So what's with the party?" She grinned that crooked grin of hers. "I'm ready to be amazed."

“Dude, you’re gonna love it!” Hana reached into his pocket and pulled out his trademark stone sword. Smiling at Ruffnut, he stepped away from her a little to give himself some space. He’d shown her Oversouls before of course, even fought her with some. But this was going to be totally different to those temporary partners he’d made low level weapons with. “You ready?”

There was a brief flash of power and the air around seemed to change, as it always did when Hana used his power.
But this was different. Totally different. Hana usually made a sword when fighting, but this was nothing like those basic weapons.
For one thing, it was much larger and it seemed more intricate and detailed than any he’d made before. The guard coating his left shoulder seemed ancient yet strong, as if it’d withstood hundreds of attacks and could withstand hundreds more.
But the part that caught eyes the quickest was what appeared to be the massive, jagged shape of a demons skull encompassing his right arm, giving off an impenetrable impression, its spikes looking ready to skewer the opponent. Attached to this was the longest blade Hana had ever created, it seemed barbaric and terrifyingly sharp and deadly.
The whole thing appeared to scream intimidation and strength. It seemed to pulsate power and potential, creating a pressure around itself, manifested in a strange wispy glow around itself and its master.
Even Hana himself seemed to have changed, he stood more confidently, more imposing and within his eyes glowed something akin to great knowledge and understanding.
He grinned. “Whatcha think?”

She ran over once she recovered shouting "HOLY GODS! What is that thing dude?" She was not the least bit shy in trying to touch it and examine it from every angle.

He turned this way and that as she inspected him, moving the whole thing so she could get a good look at the way it interacted with him and the sheer size and scale of weapon.
"This is the way I really fight."

"This is great! Now you're REALLY gonna kick butt!"

“Zou!” Sitting cross legged, he smiled up at the taller boy. “I didn’t know you hung around here.”
Vigorous nodding. “You bet!”

He'd seen Hana's fencing skills, and Amidamaru could certainly be the name of a sword, so...

"Amidamaru's my guardian ghost."

ADMIT IT HANA HE WAS SOMETIMES A SWORD"Your 'guardian ghost'? Oh, so he's a friend of yours -- that's good news!"
He blinked. "...but where was he?"

IT'S HARD TO EXPLAIN, OKAY?"He's right here!" He said excitedly, before stopping to consider something. "Oh, right. You can't see. Um... Well..."
Hana looked Zouichi over. "Hey, have you spent alot of time around people with spiritual powers?"
