If You Need a Doctor, I'll Examine Every Inch of You [Phys Evals; Open]
Ever since the medical briefing on the comms, the medical bay staff has been preparing for an influx of appointments for physical evaluations, as well as a few walk-ins. After that, the hunt will be on for those who've been skipping such appointments.
A few of the staff members are going about their regular duties, expecting patients or simply biding time at the coffee machine until they're called on.
[OOC: please state the name of which med character(s) you want to administer the evaluation in the header to your comment. If you're fine with anyone tagging in, please indicate so. Available characters are Sakura, Howard, Dr. Faiza Hussain, Soren and Dr. Carson Beckett.]

"This shouldn't hurt. Literally," she said, returning with the needle. "Could you hold your wings away from your torso? Enough that I can get my hands in here. I prefer to pull from this part of your wing, if you may notice some tingling right before I do. That's chakra, and it's perfectly normal." For as normal as chakra ever was.
"Mmm, if Marco liked to point out it was useless for him, as long as he could morph. Which is how I found out," she added as an afterthought. "Dropped the Great Wall on him and thought I'd accidentally murdered someone all in my first however long here on ship."

< They always say it won't hurt, > he quipped, waiting for her to poke at him.
< Dropping the Great Wall on somebody, hell of a way to say hello. And morphing is useful, but unfortunately it's not really something I can do any longer. > A little misdirection. Assuming Marco hadn't told her otherwise.

She turned to take care of the sample, shaking her head in amusement.
"His fault for insulting my lack of vacation time." It wasn't what had led up to the accident, but it hardly mattered anymore. She knew it never would, outside of being a story she could choose to tell.
Much like Tobias was telling now, like Marco had tried passing off again. She wondered if their lies held up better back home as she glanced back to Tobias, eyes locking on his hawk face. The likelihood of Tobias surviving to the end of their war without being able to morph struck her as low to impossible, not if he was an active part of it. And given the group's intense loyalty...
Her smile was softer, for no great discernible reason. "Of course. If that's the truth behind it all. Sta'c might know either which way, but it's not like we depend on her to keep us all honest."
Because Stacy did one hell of a shitty job if that was the case. "Let me get this stored real fast, then get a weight for you. I'll be a moment."

< Alright, I'll be here. > And no Marco left to ask about how much Sakura really knew about them. This wasn't good, but at the same time, she didn't seem the type to tell everyone all that she knew, which was a relief.
