Spring Cleaning, Round 2 [Backdated to just after podpop]
Who: The Doctors, their assistants and friends, some visitors [Open], and the Master.
Where: The TARDIS, the blue police box located in the Hangar.
Summary: Somebody's made a mess of the old ship. The Doctors are very unhappy. Time to dig in and clean up! Also, there's some necessary hashing-out of titles and ownership between three men who happen to be the same person. And a bit of a problem arises...
Warnings: Possibly mild swearing on Nine's part.
The Doctor and his immediate successor with the long coat had run straight from the Observation Deck when they'd learned where the TARDIS was and gotten their bearings. They'd been whisked through the uncomfortable transport tubes, spilled into an arsenal of ships, and been left to search. Luckily, as diminished as their abilities were, they could still sense the old girl. It wasn't long before she was found.
They wasted no time in opening the door, winding up in a console room that could never fit inside the seemingly small exterior of the police box without some serious dimensional shifting. It was a wide space, well-lit, but definitely not the room the two new arrivals were used to.
Here, they'd finally find this other Doctor the other crew members have told them so much about. And with any luck, they'll have some answers too.

DOCTORS [Closed]
Splendid way to start a conversation, wassn't it? Well, he had to be cranky about something. And the jarring lights and wide spaces were the most obvious change.
There were also parts scattered across the floor, probably signs of the mess that was made here. They'll have to ask about those.
Re: DOCTORS [Closed]
Granted he did have a reason.
The Doctor might as well get this over with. "Of course I redecorated. Fresh start, fresh wallpaper! You know how we are on change and really, it's not that bad."
He came bounding down the stairs, pulling off his welder's goggles and letting them dangle around his neck as he came closer. This Doctor had those hard lines in his face, ones that honestly, he suspected he'd regenerated with from the start and even the ears couldn't off-set those. The Doctor smiled and let his younger self take him in. Enjoy that nice long look of how cool you'll look in the future, Doctor, because it was that sort of thing that would impress all your future friends.

"Why would he redecorate?" the Doctor exclaimed, stepping inside immediately after his younger self. The reason became obvious when he caught sight of the resident Doctor. He hadn't worn a bowtie for years. For a good reason. No one with a sense of style wore a bowtie! Still, he had to ask the question. "Why would you redecorate? The other theme was fine. A classic. And why would anyone want a glass floor?"
He didn't wait for an answer. He hopped up to the second floor and the central column, resting his hand on the glass. She was alive, she was definitely alive, but she was also silent. Dormant, even. What had this 'Stacy' done to his TARDIS?

River Song
"Can I come in now or are you boys going to build a pillow fort and play truth-or-dare?"
(feel free to threadjack, Docs!)
This Doctor opens the door for her, clearly unhappy about something or other. It was that name vote, wasn't it. Why can't he be 'the Doctor'? He's the freshest, clearly it should be his title.
"Or maybe it's hide and seek. Keeping track of 'em's been a horrible time."

Eleven's puttering round post-meet-up
For now the Doctor is pretending to pretend to look busy, possibly eavesdropping for any sign the two Doctors are changing anything on him. They'll get used to it. It's a better desktop in his opinion. Much more roomy than coral, less eyeblindingly white compared to the old old one. Better overall!

But just saying 'thank you' didn't quite seem adequate, so she had held off untl she thought of something more substantial. Which she had: she came bearing an oragami butterfly made out of red paper.
She stopped when she saw the young man working on the phonebox's wiring. She didn't recognize him, but she hadn't had a chance to meet any of its crew in the chaos. "Excuse me, are you one of the people who mans this--" What was it? A ship? A facility? "--construct?"

Re: Visiting Hours [Open]
Oh well.
She tried the doors and found that they were locked. Strange. So with a balled up fist, Miss Wright knocked upon the door and stood back to wait patiently.

Maybe not all the damage after had been entirely his fault, not with what happened during Lirath - and whatever the robots had done in their own attack on the place. But at least part of what happened here had been. There were still bound to be some questions he'd have to answer, uncomfortable as they may be. And he didn't feel quite right using the key at the moment. So, instead, he curls his fingers around it and lifts the opposite hand to knock on the door.
"Doctor? Are ye about?"
You okay with threadjacking? I don't want to hog everyone.
Some of the cheerfulness is forced, but he's trying. Progress is slower than he'd like. "Did you find Victoria?"
Absolutely. Anyone is welcome to jump in!

A Fox Appears
Sure, a biplane might be a weird thing to find in a spaceship hangar, but no more weird than what Tails found instead: A blue phone booth that said POLICE PUBLIC CALL BOX on it. What the heck...?
Flying towards it, Tails landed and took a look around the outside. Was there someone inside it? The lights were on. Maybe they were on the phone? If so, Tails just waited outside. When they came out, he'd have to ask them why there was a phone booth in the middle of the hangar.

And then this happened. There was a knocking at the door. Accompanied by a fairly annoying sounding voice.
"Hello? Is anyone in there? Hello? It's fairly urgent, so why don't you just... open up this door?"

"Still looks way too blue for me..." she commented out loud.
She made so much noise listening for the echo inside, it probably sounded like knocking for anyone inside.

And Problems [Closed]
I... may or may not know yet what Plan B actually is. >.>
If the TARDIS were his, he reflects while rummaging through one of the storage areas for spare parts, he'd have left that rotting meatship eons ago, with or without the Doctor. Left the universe to its fate. As it is the Doctor's learned long ago to lock her controls.
Which is why, while the Doctors and their pets are distracted by their little meeting, the Master is enacting Plan B.

Tarrant looked around for the owner of the police box, then began to dip into the invisible currents of fae that suffused the ship. Questing. Curious for information, as always.
After all, if no one was here, no one could complain about him ferreting out a few secrets, could they?
no subject
"Impressive, I know," the Doctor is shameless. He sticks out his hand. "Hi! The Doctor. Don't think I've seen you knocking about Stacy before!"

Team TARDIS vs. The Loudness in the Library
It's time they confront it. Armed with their knives, their flashlights, and their wits, this little group is ready to take back that room for their own.
"Right, so, here's the plan," the Doctor explains, wincing at the sound of a thump and rustling of pages. "They're books, right? We can fight 'em. Might have to burn a few pages, but I want that room back."
no subject
"That's the plan?" He didn't look particularly impressed. "That's not a plan. That's ... that's a statement!"
