Out of credits, Game Over. [Open - During Shore Leave]
The Shodan incident had left more than a foul memory, in fact, it was so bad that the details were hazy.
But he knew he'd gone rogue, and he knew that he caused a lot of damage... and hurt people he cared about. There was no excuse, this was were he belonged. That however didn't make it any more depressing. He'd missed the new crew members, and he would miss much of the going ons but Splicer was used to being alone...
He had his team back after all, even if they were back at home. For now, he'd simply sit there, slumped against the cell wall and think of the thing's he'd done.
Man... this is the shit that the other Spectres got killed for... way to lose it cowboy...

"What exactly would you want to know? I mean... the list is rather extensive." And not necessarily a pleasant one at some points.

Aya was hesitant to use 'crazy phrase' even though that was the first thing that came to mind.
"... Period of instability." she said after a moment. "Just for my reference, so I know how to get you back in case it happens again."

Spicer let out a heavy sigh and slumped back against the wall.
"You sure ya don' want a novel? Cause that question." he joked, again halfhearted.
"Short version, if I don't have my mental dampeners I can't keep myself in check.... If those mental dampeners are taken away... I can get volatile. So that coupled with me being made to believe my team had been killed by the AI that controls the ship... well, you saw the results. I don' gotta get into those details."

Aya was silent as she digested all of this. It looked and sounded pretty bad on the whole. Her eyes looked straight to the floor. They were a lot closer to each other than she thought. It was strange and comforting, paradoxically.
"The other thing that I wondered is why you let me go. You were pretty gone but..."

She could take it how she wished... Splicer wouldn't say it straight out. Sometimes
all the timeit was hard for him to say anything of the sort outright.no subject
"But yeah, that's this checkup over."
Aya didn't get up to leave though.
"It's a while until they send people down. I haven't got anything else to do. I'll stick around here if you want but only if you want. If you'd rather have your peace, I'll scram."

he smiled, a genuine smiled and let out a very light chuckle as he shook his head, running a hand through his hair before looking at her.
"Man, I think I'll be getting enough alone time... I think... Naw, I rather you stay if you can stand me." he added with a playful grin.

She shrugged and settled on the floor crosslegged.
"Somewhere. It doesn't matter. No matter what you say. I owe ya one."

"There's nothing to be repaid tho. I'm more than happy t' keep bringing you hope, and anything else you might need... I dunno, there's just something about you..." he paused, and gave a light chuckle.
"I think I'll leave it at that so I don't lose this amazingly pleasant company." Of course he was teasing, he was trying to get back into the flow of things and Aya made it easier for him.
