Out of credits, Game Over. [Open - During Shore Leave]

The Shodan incident had left more than a foul memory, in fact, it was so bad that the details were hazy.

But he knew he'd gone rogue, and he knew that he caused a lot of damage... and hurt people he cared about. There was no excuse, this was were he belonged. That however didn't make it any more depressing. He'd missed the new crew members, and he would miss much of the going ons but Splicer was used to being alone...

He had his team back after all, even if they were back at home. For now, he'd simply sit there, slumped against the cell wall and think of the thing's he'd done.

Man... this is the shit that the other Spectres got killed for... way to lose it cowboy...

"I am glad," Starfire whispered. "You did not hurt me. I believed in you. We undid the damage, it is all right. I hope that they will release you soon."

Splicer sighed but gave an appreciative smile.

"Dunno what I woulda done if I had hurt you... but I'm really glad I didn'." Of that he was sure.

"Then I would see you in the medical bay and request a tray of our delicious slop," she said confidently. She wouldn't die, that much was sure.

"I will ask the security team when you will be released. Someone should come by to ensure that you are well soon."

He couldn't help but chuckle, "Delicious slop huh?" Shaking his head still smiling, he looked back to her.

"Well, I'm sure it'll be a bit, but I can't really blame them. Security procedures and all that."

"The procedures are tedious, but this is true everywhere," Starfire reminds herself. If her captors hadn't spent so much time on paperwork so long ago, she might not have ever escaped---so it wasn't always so bad.

"Do you desire any items from the planet?"

"They usually are aren't they? Then again, I know of some planets that just threw you into the gladiatorial pit and called it a day. If you lived, you lived, if not? Well, hell at least it was a good show to them anyways."

At the question he nodded, "Yeah, got a list posted up on the comms when I got a chance. I think a couple peeps are gonna grab some of the stuff on the list, but I wouldn't mind getting some more. Can't have enough yanno?"

"I have been to those planets," Starfire remembered. "It was not easy to survive."

But she had! She'd escaped, been captured, and escaped again. She smiled and pushed a few buttons, checking the list of supplies.

"I will collect what I am able to, I promise."

"You have huh? Damn Star, you never cease to amaze me." he replied with a big smile.

"Seems I was dead on when I said you were pretty amazing yanno."

Splicer managed to get a laugh out of her! That was the first time she became convinced that he was going to be okay. It would take time, but she would see to it.

"I thank you for your flattery, but I must insist that it is you who is amazing. You will be all right."

Splicer smiled, "You think so? I mean, if you think I will, then it must be true." he replied with a playful wink.

"Yes!"

At this point, Starfire desperately wanted to hug him, but there were those tricky bars in the way. She eventually settled on hugging the bars, then blowing a kiss. Hopefully that carried the sentiment.

"I will retrieve your items and ask for your release. Take care of yourself, Shadow."

He blinked a few times as a slowly growing smile spread across his lips and he nodded, "Thanks beautiful. You make sure to stay safe too alright?"

He gave her a slight wave and saw her off.

Right now? He would have liked trading spaces with those bars.
