Aim to Win [Closed, pre Beyond the Sea Plot]
The excitement of the poddrop had died down after a few days and Lash found herself back to her usual routine on the ship. It was rather amazing how much she could manage to do each 'day', from working in the labs, to shop management to training in the sensoriums. Truthfully, everything served to keep her occupied, which was an excellent thing--if Lash ever got bored anywhere it was a sure setup for a disaster of terrible repercussions. Probably explosive ones. Speaking of which...
"Fire! Fire!"
One of the ship's sensoriums was now being taken by her as she played it wisely and used it to tested out various prototypes before building them. They'd come out with a lot of robot parts to build thanks to SHODAN's rampage, and she was going to make the most use of what she'd gotten. With a typical Lash twist and flare, of course.
The soldier obeyed and fired the first cannon with a button press, the cannonball flying out and landing far away. Lash kept tabs using a CO pad, analyzing how the prototype fared. Upon landing, the cannonball opened itself up amongst the surprised enemy soldiers and turned into a small robot with turrets built on each side.
"Tee hee! It works, it works! Now, if I adjust the energy here, I should be able to build a small army, and that would be useful to aid during away missions..."
As she was about to approve it, the robot exploded. Soldiers, trees, dirt and burnt robot pieces flew into the air, landing close by.
"Oh oops! Hmmm...better not put that much energy into that one. The crew could lose a few arms and legs like that!" She said it with such a calm voice too, even if she was speaking to no one but herself and the nearby soldiers. With a small flick, she brushed off a piece of cracked robot, and began another prototype test.
Just another typical day for a wunderkind.

"You sure? I'll give you a chance to back down," he teased. It was just banter, after all; they both knew there was no way in hell she would.

This could only go wrong.

The Prinnies were getting really confused at this point.

He stabbed one claw into the highly-pressurized can of whipped cream, then hurled it at Lash like a grenade. "HYAAAA HA HA HA HA HA!"
1/I don't know how many.

well that was shorter than I thought woops
Oh god there was cream everywhere. But especially her hair.

"Well, Lash? Ready to admit that you're..." He ran his tongue over his lips to catch the chocolate dribbling over them. "Licked?"
no subject
"Only because I didn't know that was a high-pressurized can!" she told him, before her usual pride melted and she started to slowly grin again, finding the entire situation pretty funny. "Tee hee! I guess you've creamed the competition."
Oh god someone stop them please.

...wait. He'd just said that as a lead-in to something horrible. But he didn't actually have a witty line to deliver! She could see the brief look of fumbling horror on his face -- before he said screw it. "Second, suck this! Hyaaaa ha ha ha ha ha!"
He seized the table and upended it, sending every single damn thing left on it flying at her.

The food found it's mark...well nearly. Suddenly everything stopped, frozen mid tracks, as Lash remembered that this WAS the sensoriums and heck like she'd let him pelt her with so much food. Everything suddenly shot into the sky comically, where gravity would sound bring them back down.
"In the words of Jake," she took out a pair of sunglasses for no reason, as a metal umbrella appeared above of her to shield her from the few seconds that this would all no doubt come falling back. "I believe you're going to get...pwn'd." Somewhere behind her, barrels of oil exploded for no reason.
no subject
"Hey babe. Nice weather we're having, huh?" he said, smugly casual.
no subject
"Yeah it's raining...ice cream and candy." At least she thinks it was, considering the sunglasses made everything hard to see. In fact she took them off just as the entire mound of everything landed and splattered on the wooden floor.
Okay so they had planned for when the stuff went down. But the recoil meant that they still had a tidal wave of ingredients thrown at them. Woops.

"You know, if this were all real, it would be a pain in the ass to clean up," he pointed out. "Of course, if it were all real, we'd just have the Prinnies do most of it.

She flipped away a bit of the chocolate pieces, for what little good it did.

"You're a mess," he murmured.

"So are you!"

Her reaction to this was to freeze completely solid, her eyes as wide as dinner plates.

Needless to say, the battle was pretty intense right now, even if all Zetta saw was Mcafro Blush-a-lot.
