EVICTED: THE MUSICAL [OPEN]
[Please enjoy the following with the appropriate musical accompaniment.]

So Aya and Chell,
Set out to find a new home.
It's gonna be tough,
For a couple of girls on their own.
Here's a little house,

Aya's stickin' her head in.
Well that's a bad idea, dude,

'Cause now those Scots think you're breakin' in.

And now they're chillin' on the side of a hill,
And thinkin' livin' by the river would be totally thrillin'.
Unless they find something nearby,

Like the giant scary dragon who frequently flies by.

Sharpie X oh noo-oo-ooo!
Don't push your luck in there, guys!

Howard said not to try,
'Cause he's already raided it for supplies!

Big castle, go inside,
Look around, it seems all right.

Pony jumps out!
Says they're tardy!
Throwin' up streamers 'cause it's time to paaaaarrty!
You know you should have stayed,

And fought that stupid robot eyeball.
But Chell was feeling impatient,

She was super sick of him watching her sleep.
Which is understandable,
'Cause Wheatley is really moronic.
He's id-i-o-tic,

And terrible at dealing with humans.
Oh Wheatley,
Why won't you leave them be?

'Cause good robots do what they're told,
And he wasn't programmed with a moral code.
Oh Wheatley,
Can't you see you'll drive them insane?

No he can't.
'Cause he's crying at the pod he thinks has Caaaave.
So there go our girls,
Walkin' through the City streets.

Headin' towards their destiny,
And a place to rest their tired feet.
[Chell and Aya are out and about in the City, wherever you need them to be. I sincerely apologize for this post. The end.]

A sigh.
"... I never thought all of this was just on one ship."
no subject
At least for the moment he was nowhere to be found. The City was huge, after all.
She nodded in agreement with her hands on her hips, surveying the area. For such a giant place, it sure was hard to find something they liked.
Of course, her greatest attribute was her tenacity, and she wasn't ready to throw in the towel.
This next street looked totally promising. Totally.
The cut text cannot contain the awesome in this post. XD
Upon turning the corner, he spied the pair looking around.
"Hey, you lost?"
8,)
Chell, however, was never one to admit that she didn't know where she was going.
Also this guy was hard to take seriously when he was wearing a cowboy hat. She shrugged.
awww yis
"Do you know your way around here?" was all she said with a cocked eyebrow.
no subject
"Oh yeah, know it pretty well from patrols. I'm Dean, one of the heads of Security around here. Got a house nearby with my brother and some friends, but I can show you around. Safer to walk in groups sometimes down here."
no subject
She eyed this cowboy-security-man skeptically, obviously wanting him to elaborate further.
That...blew my mind
A sort of eerie and uncomfortable presence radiates from this place. A cold howling wind blows from somewhere, the kind that chills you to your bones.
Do you dare enter?
heehee
That sure was a tower.
Chell, of course, would not be daunted by creepiness or spookiness or general discomfort. She wanted to know what was on top of that thing. As soon as she laid eyes on it, she took Aya by the wrist and began pulling her towards it.
This was going to be so cool.
Re: heehee
Hadn't she seen that one woman on a mission before?
"Yo," she said. "What can I do for you?"
no subject
"We're househunting. Don't mind us so much."
But Aya's eyes were just fixed on the castle. It was pretty amazing. It wasn't intimidating as so much it had it's own vibe. A creepy one, but a still a vibe nonetheless.

She called into this house. "Ruff! Think you can bring out three drinks?"
no subject
Still, it seemed like a very strange place to live, and she cocked her head to the side in confusion. Ghosts? Really?
no subject
no subject
The gate is open, but overlooked by a ferocious-looking stone statue of a monstrous winged creature caught mid-roar.
no subject
The statue at the gate gave her pause, but not being particularly superstitious, she walked through, motioning for Aya to follow her.
no subject
When she saw that Chell had advanced ahead, Aya had no choice but to follow. Welp. At least she had her gun in case.
"Chell, do you think this is a good idea?"
no subject
Still, nobody seemed around at that precise moment - unless you counted the statue in front of the castle's main door, a large snarling doglike creature that was easily four feet tall at the shoulder.
Weird place for a statue.

no subject
Awesome explosions, too, though that part did surprise her. She jumped a few steps back, waiting for the smoke to clear. Of course, after realizing they were not being attacked, Chell allowed herself to relax and offered the newcomer a tiny, if bewildered wave.
no subject
But if her experiences with Jr. were anything to go by, this kid may not have been a kid at all. Still, if he caused explosions by accident he may not be too dangerous.
"You live here?" she called out.
no subject
"Sorry bout that. Yeah, I live here. Why'd ya ask?"
no subject
Fragments of stone scattered everywhere as the doglike creature growled loudly at the humans, and the larger, more humanlike one jumped down from the wall, looked at the girls, looked at the smoke pouring out the window, crossed his burly arms, and frowned sternly at the human boy.
"What have you destroyed this time?"
no subject
It was enough to make her take another few steps backward, but not to run away entirely. Instead, she regarded the new arrival (was he new if he'd technically been there the whole time?) with a look of surprised incredulity.
no subject
She looked over to Chell, who was similarly unsure of what to do. And since the other woman wasn't going to offer an explanation, Aya piped up.
"Um... so you all live here?"
no subject
no subject
"This is the Castle Wyvern, my protectorate and the ancestral home of my clan. Peter lives here with my permission." Goliath addressed Aya, Chell, and Peter alike with an air of sternness. Of Peter he asked, "Are these your friends?"
no subject
She shook her head, even if Goliath hadn't addressed her directly, to indicate that no. She'd never seen this crazy exploding kid before in her life.
no subject
Please don't beat us up Mister Scary Statue Guy, we're really just trying to find a place to live.
"My name is Aya Brea. This is Chell. We're currently looking for a place to live. Sorry if we kinda trespassed."
no subject
"Your apology is accepted." He considers an offer. He doesn't know these women, and perhaps he should call Elisa over to meet them before offering them a space in the home he shares with her and Peter. Yes, that seems like a good plan. "There is space here I have considered offering the crew for living quarters, but I do not know you well enough yet to invite you into my home. What reason can you give, that we should consider allowing you to share our territory?"
He includes Peter in ownership of the castle, even as he reaches for his communicator to call for Elisa.
no subject
"What's going on?" she asked, finally joining them.
no subject
Unable to detail why she and Aya would be great to have around the house, Chell opted to greet the new arrival instead, raising a hand in a tentative wave.
no subject
no subject
She then turned her attention to the two strangers, holding out her hand to each of them in turn.
"Hi. I'm Elisa, one of the other residents."
no subject
He pauses. "But I guess you guys can live here when I'm done."
no subject
Chell has to admit she's getting a little fed up with waltzing into perfectly good houses only to find that they were only perfectly good on the outside. Thankfully, it didn't take her long to connect the looted abodes to the black marker right above the doorknob.
She does not, however, take kindly to being told to leave, and crosses her arms, regarding Howard with an air of suspicion.
no subject
Aya pats Chell on the shoulder. Howard's sharpie markings were saving them some trouble after all. She also, doesn't like the idea of being told to go away. But Howard wasn't the most threatening person while waving that Sharpie around, it had to bed said.
