All About Tonight [Closed]
Diana walked down the street.
It was so late now. Or early. Whatever you wanted to call it.
She’d stopped by her place to safely store the pillow case full of sweets and kick off her heels, switching them for some flatter footwear, because after all that walking they were killing her.
All of this, of course, had ticked away more time, but Diana didn’t mind, infact she planned on it. It was why she’d spent so much time out tonight, hanging with the others. Though, it’s not untrue she’d also had fun tonight, which was still a weird feeling to be having after almost 2 months away from FAYZ.
But making them wait was an old trick. An old, but very effective trick.
She wasn’t nervous or anything stupid like that. She knew what she was doing. And she had the upper hand here. Diana could read people easily, especially on subjects relating to attraction and relationships. She could see how much Jinx was interested in her, but she could also see Jinx hadn’t done something like this before, so the feelings were muddled and slightly confused, which was just the perfect thing for Diana to take advantage of.
Besides, this wasn’t dangerous. Jinx was a girl. It wasn’t like with boys, boys got excited, too caught up, boys were driven by nothing but stupid little impulses in their brains. Girls were different. A girl would stop when told. Especially a nervous girl who had no idea what she was doing.
Diana smirked to herself as she rounded the corner, keeping up with her slow, casual pace until she came to stop infront of the building Jinx had told her to come meet her at.

Steal a briefcase full of expensive microchips out from under a handful of trained armed guards? Cake.
Dealing with a girl who was as confident, observant and manipulative if not more so then herself? Now that was intimidating.
But at the same time she wouldn't back down, couldn't now. She would rise to meet this challenge like any other and learn from it.
It was easier to think about it like that.
Peeking out the window she saw Diana who no doubt saw the only window in the apartment with light flickering out from it. Slipping away from the window unseen she was quick and quiet making sure things looked appropriate, smoothing out her usual outfit once more and then slipped out onto the roof.
Four stories below her, Jinx's sharp eyes located Diana and she whistled to get the girls attention.
One little act of showing off, that would give her the push of confidence she needed to get this started. Holding her arms to her sides she walked carefully and almost casually across a wire stretched between the two buildings. It had once been a phone line but now it was her tight rope.
Turning gently one side, she allowed herself to slip off the wire catching it with her left hand and swinging. At the apex she released and flipped to the opposite building, catching on the wall with her boots and shoving off.
Another fall, it seemed fast. Too fast as she plummeted another story, but those long legs caught on a burnt out lamp post and she swung around once, twice, slowly descending the last few feet to the ground in front of Diana.
A routine like that at HIVE academy would only have earned her a B at best, because there were no lasers or mashy spike plates.

Oh, yes. This girl could prove to be very useful. Diana had made a very good choice in snaring her in.
After Jinx landed, she cocked her hip to the side and rest a hand on it, giving Jinx another appraising look. Diana was still wearing the short, curve hugging dress of her outfit.
She gave five claps. "Impressive. Very impressive." She brought a long, slim finger to her bottom lip in thought. "Let's see if you can keep that level of performance all night."

"Still beautiful." She noted and then turned making her way towards the doors, "As if I expected any less." She held it open for Diana politely leading her into the dim building.

She was quiet as they walked, looking around in dull interest.

The apartment was much more welcoming however. Furniture of a particular style that hit somewhere between gothic, punk rock and modern sat comfortably and inviting, some lanterns had been lit providing a flickering light that let shadows dance on every surface.
"It's not much, but it's mine." She closed the door behind them, locking it purely out of habit. This was after all supposed to be a place she felt safe and comfortable while she slept.
The walls were decorated with sketches of things, buildings people, creatures, a drafting desk had been rescued from somewhere and placed by one of the windows (Who's curtians were now drawn) where a pad of paper and some drawing supplies rested.

"It's nice." She pointed to the walls. "Those are cute, did you do them?"
She stretched out like a cat and looked up at Jinx expectantly, waiting for her to prove herself after that confident display.

She slipped off her shoes and pulled her long, stocking covered legs onto the sofa. "You wouldn't be trying to stall though, would you?"
no subject
"Unless you were in a hurry?"
no subject
"Let's just say I'm a girl of my own pace."

"How was the rest of your trick or treating?" She was trying to get a grip on the situation once more, Diana was l like a target that moved every time Jinx started to get a decent aim.

Fade to black~
The next morning
Slowly opening her eyes she was confused and surprised to see a face next to hers, only to instantly relax and feel a rush of heat when she remembered the events of the previous night.
It had become a battle of wills, but when it reached a level both were comfortable with they held it and continued until they drifted off to sleep...
...at least that's what Jinx could remember.
Still as her sleepy brain began to work once more she had to admit she was mildly surprised to find Diana hadn't woken up first and snuck out. She wasn't sure that Diana was the person to do that but this was alot of new territory to cover.
They didn't move off the sofa, but a blanket was pulled over them both, one from the theme park gift shops so it had a sort of horror theme to the pattern but it was not as garish as the others the shop had offered.
She took a few minutes to savor the feeling of warm and softness pressing into her. It was a secret she'd kept buried deep in her heart that she wanted to feel that sort of thing. Someone who respected her, wanted to be with her. A professional girl like Jinx though could never depend on others. It would ruin her aspirations of criminal genius.
And she had no delusions of what the previous night had been, but it was nice to imagine if only for a minute.
Re: The next morning
An assessment of the situation wasn't really needed. She was already aware of where she was, what happened and who with, but she was more concerned about the softness and warmth she'd cocooned herself in and for a brief moment, she reveled in it. You didn't appreciate the word luxury until you'd lost the ability to use it.
Her body gave a automatic stretch to indicate it was warming up for movement, brushing and bumping against the body pressed to hers. It was hard to have a lie in when your body wanted to be on constant alert for danger and food. She'd have to be careful or she'd end up with dark marks under her eyes. That wasn't a good look.
She gave a sigh and pushed herself up with her arms, the blanket sliding down to rest over her rump. She'd taken off her dress during last nights activities (it was a very awkward piece of clothing anyway, costumes were not very practical in any sense). Her underwear still in place, her plant suit shrunken and fashioned into a bra (as she'd quickly found that was the best use for the fitted piece of clothing she was forced to wear constantly).
From Diana's side, there was no awkward, shy feelings about their actions last night. Diana was as confident and calm as ever, in fact, she seemed more preoccupied about looking at the window as she lay next to Jinx, propping herself up with her arms, trying to guess how long they'd been asleep. Why couldn't Stacy have some kind of time system?
Re: The next morning
The tea was cold and forgotten in the cups, "Mmm, hungry?" She offered even forgetting to put a bit of flirt in the question to make it sound seductive.

At the mention of food, her stomach tensed up in anticipation. Breakfast was honestly the most important meal for Diana, after fasting in her sleep, her body would panic in the morning about its lack of contents and intake and begin clenching uncomfortably as a reminder that she needed to eat. Like she needed reminding. Like she would ever need reminding.
But she only replied to Jinx with a smirk. "Offering a girl breakfast the next day? Oh, I do like you."
Though, Diana supposed she'd like anyone who'd feed her. Which was very pathetic and animalistic so she pushed the thought away.
"What did you have in mind?"
no subject
"There's more but those are the most...breakfesty." Jinx was nothing if not a pack rat when it came to supplies.
no subject
"Why don't you surprise me?"
But still, the offer of food, let alone a prepared breakfast, was too hard to resist. "And make it a large portion."
She winked to make the comment more playful and light hearted even though she was deadly serious.

"I'm not much of a cook I'm afraid, things tend to um...burn. But I've worked out sort of a system here." The system seemed to involve a hot plate (Also from engineering and run on batteries.)
no subject
"I promise, I'm not picky." She looked over to Jinx in the kitchen, a playful look on her pretty face. "At least, not about food~"
no subject
As she examined her ingredients an old memory flitted across the landscape of her mind and she smiled. Well it wasn't high class, but it would be a nice treat. Hopefully.
no subject
"Ah, there's my dress." She didn't make a move to retrieve it though.
no subject
"Oh no...no no no stop it!" She was arguing with...the food she was preparing. Moving quickly she snatched a lid and put it over the pot just in time to smother some kind of pink light and what sounded like a buzzing and a crack.
Jinx sighed and hung her head, carefully lifting up the lid. "Well, the food's still good. I'll need a new hotplate though."
