Medieval World!

Medieval World was one of the largest year-round renaissance faires in the multiverse.

Minstrels and bards wandered the streets, vendors sold ridiculously overpriced period clothing, jewelry, weapons, and turkey legs as big as a human's head, and the royal court mingled with the commoners. There were events everywhere: falconers, magicians, belly dancing, hypnotists, weapons competitions including swords, axes, maces, and bows, camel rides, Washing Well Wenches, fake jousting on wooden 'horses' suspended on ropes, and real jousting.

As was typical of these sorts of events, anachronicity was everywhere, as were patrons in all sorts of fantasy costumes.

Join in the fun!

[OOC: Add things if you want, and go for it!

Also, if anyone wants to win a flower for their lady from the Wenches, contact Shae for NPCing.

"Maybe. They could always just travel down to the City or Hydroponics and return to the ship with you. Though I am not sure how comfortable fire spirits would be in either place. It would be better if they did not," Alastirra said. Both as something of an agreement with Ankh, and a sort of gentle suggestion to the spirits themselves.

Never mind they would do exactly what they wanted, regardless. Spirits were very like that.

"You don't have to tell me that," Ankh stated a bit rudely; he had no idea how spirits worked, but hadn't he already made it obvious he didn't want whatever those things were around?

"Besides, why do I care? Are you sure you're not just making all this up?" He asked, narrowing his eyes and gesturing with his hands. For all hew knew after all, she was full of it. Why? Well, how the heck should he know, really.

Alastirra arched a brow. A disbeliever, hm? Well. She didn't make a point of flaunting her powers, usually, but...

"Oh, Akil, Kurii? Would you care to introduce yourselves, my friends?" Not that many people expected a pair of translucent, ghostly blue wolves to suddenly appear from nowhere. There hadn't been a milling crowd before, but eyes were settling on the Draenei and her ghost wolves.

One of them sat down on its haunches and scratched vigorously. The other stepped around Ankh, giving him the eye, before lifting its head and giving a low, mournful howl.

Alastirra just looked at Ankh. "Am I making them up?"

OK he definitely hadn't been expecting that, which was evident from the shocked look on his face. Ankh jumped in surprised and took a step back when the pair of wolves appeared.

"What the hell...?!" He glanced around at the surrounding people as if checking to see that he wasn't hallucinating; he wasn't used to the whole dreaming thing, but from what he knew about them he wouldn't strike it as a possibility. He warily sidestepped one of them when it came near him, glaring at it. "What are these things?!"

Alastirra smirked, just a little. She couldn't help it, really.

"Spirit wolves. My friends. They are harmless--to you." Not that the other people around weren't giving them something of a wide berth, due to the fact that they were giant wolves.

"I was not joking, but I was not trying to startle you either, so you have my apology for that."

With that apology, she sounded sincere, at least.

"Spirit wolves?" That still sounded utterly ridiculous, and it showed in his voice. Although they were obviously there, so there was obviously some kind of magic going on here. Didn't stop him from thinking that it was still ridiculous though.

Ankh scoffed and shrugged, recollecting himself and watching the giant wolves carefully. "Hmph. Not one for subtlety, are you? They just attack things on your command then?"
