The Attack

Between the recent fights, as well as the mixed feelings about Jordan-- she was safe in the pods, at least, and so was the rest of her family, probably-- Rachel really wouldn't mind working some stuff off in the Sensoriums.

Plus, there wasn't much else to do on the ship, and practising different morphs and getting some added thrill from fighting? Wasn't a bad way to spend time. And if she got better about fighting in the process...

There wasn't any finesse to it. She wasn't in her favourite morph, for once, instead opting for a combination of speed, grace and power in the form of the cheetah. The room was filling periodically with an assortment of enemies-- some of the smaller Ohm grunts, Hork-Bajir, even some human (Controllers, something she was used to fighting). She spaced them out enough so she could handle them, but she still tore into each with the same quick viciousness. She lunged with the force of the cat onto a particular human, the instinct taking over to allow the teeth to sink into the throat for a killing bite.

He had to shift back to laugh a little embarrassed, "Err, yeah if you don't mind. I totally understand if this is like, "private time"

He understood, he just didn't consider it till now.

His grin relaxed into a smile and he did just that taking the form of a sleek muscular green Cheetah. Though knowing his style he imagined he'd shift again before too long.

The enemies were a nice assortment, though he was a little uncomfortable with the Hork-Bajir after meeting one at one of the pod pops. But it was all a game so that made it easier. He swished his tail proudly and waited for Rachel to take the lead.

Beastboy sprang into action too. He loved using feline forms, the sort of liquid steel confidence and grace they carried was a boon to a lanky clumsy teenager like himself.

Pouncing off one human his weight knocked the enemy to the floor before he launched off the body into a taller enemy, one of the Hork-Bajir. Shifting mid flight into a Gorilla he seized the creature and hauled him over his shoulder slamming him into the ground. He let out a howl through cutting through his leathery gorilla skin. Not willing to slow down though (And knowing the wound was only simulated) he shifted into a bull next charging into the nearest Ohm and knocking him into the air with a buck and a thrust of his powerful horns.

Beastboy caught her actions out of the corner of his eye and decided to try and mimic her shifting into Cheetah form again dodging around blades that came for him. But dodging was all he was doing. He wouldn't sink his teeth into the other creatures, wouldn't eviscerate them.

And that was why they would keep coming. Soon dodging was all he was doing, moving faster and faster like a blur, struggling against his own instincts to shift forms. Practice made perfect right?

Well...almost. His constant dodging could only do so much and he found himself stunned by a sharp kick to the face, by a human of all things!

Next thing he knew he was dog piled by a group of Hork-Bijir and humans with one fat Ohm on top.

The pile shifted and shuddered...and suddenly exploded sending bodies flying in all directions as a massive T-rex rose from the insides spinning and swinging his tail in a wide circle.

He unfortunately was unaware of how close Rachel had been to him, good luck with that.

Beastboy shifted around looking for her after that remark, and when he finally spotted her grinned. A grin from a T-rex was really a frightening thing considering how many, and how big the teeth were.

But in a way it was kind of a goofy thing too knowing who was behind the wheel of that viscous killing machine.

It was a particularly strange thing to see a T-rex...with it's tiny tiny arms shrug. But he did and turned to face some recently spawned enemies charging into them, crashing and bowling into them at full speed.
