The Attack
Between the recent fights, as well as the mixed feelings about Jordan-- she was safe in the pods, at least, and so was the rest of her family, probably-- Rachel really wouldn't mind working some stuff off in the Sensoriums.
Plus, there wasn't much else to do on the ship, and practising different morphs and getting some added thrill from fighting? Wasn't a bad way to spend time. And if she got better about fighting in the process...
There wasn't any finesse to it. She wasn't in her favourite morph, for once, instead opting for a combination of speed, grace and power in the form of the cheetah. The room was filling periodically with an assortment of enemies-- some of the smaller Ohm grunts, Hork-Bajir, even some human (Controllers, something she was used to fighting). She spaced them out enough so she could handle them, but she still tore into each with the same quick viciousness. She lunged with the force of the cat onto a particular human, the instinct taking over to allow the teeth to sink into the throat for a killing bite.

With a feline yowl, she tore into the softer, human flesh with her teeth, before letting him drop and moving to the next. She didn't have size to her advantage, but she certainly had speed and liquid power. Both of which she used to take out the next closest-- a Hork-Bajir-- tearing into it, while dodging up and under the blades.

And that was why they would keep coming. Soon dodging was all he was doing, moving faster and faster like a blur, struggling against his own instincts to shift forms. Practice made perfect right?
Well...almost. His constant dodging could only do so much and he found himself stunned by a sharp kick to the face, by a human of all things!
Next thing he knew he was dog piled by a group of Hork-Bijir and humans with one fat Ohm on top.

Dropping the alien she had, she spun quickly, letting out an angry warning call to the pile of enemies on top of her companion. It startled some-- mostly the humans, and some Hork-Bajir-- distracting them a bit while she dove at them, aiming to drive them off.

He unfortunately was unaware of how close Rachel had been to him, good luck with that.

< Some morph you've got there, > she said warily.

But in a way it was kind of a goofy thing too knowing who was behind the wheel of that viscous killing machine.

< Going to try using that then? > He didn't seem to be able to answer orally, but actions spoke louder than words, right?
