[bendytimed before Visitation Plot] [what the hell, it's open]
The Southern Air Temple was pretty beautiful, architecturally speaking. With twisting spires and trees threaded into the framework of the temple itself, it looked half as if it'd grown out of the ground or been carved into it rather than that it had been built there.
The best part about it, though, was the sense of peace the place had. It was very easily the kind of thing that could draw people in and help them find calm, even if they weren't the religious type.

There was no little map up in the corner of the screen. There was nothing that he could reference to figure out where he was. And by 'nothing' Wakka meant 'a sun.' Because Wakka wasn't used to navigating living machina ships with horrible living machina everything.Machina Bad had seeped itself into his soul from an early age. Living inside of one didn't help him to shake the feeling.
So when he stumbled across... well it looked a little like a temple of the fayth, Wakka felt slightly better than usual. It at least felt a little familiar to him, even if it was different.
Maybe there were treasure chests lying around. He'd better go exploring.Might as well take a closer look at the place. He wished he could hear someone singing the hymn. That would have made it feel even more like home.
Hadn't Yuna said that they moved some of the temples of the fayth onto the ship? Maybe he should try to find out where those were sometime.

Was it some holy song? A hymn? A chant that expressed the deepest faith in the divine?
"But now I'm stronger than yesterday
Now it's nothin' but my way
My loneliness ain't killin' me no more!"
Aang liked some of the songs he'd learned from the media library. This was why Wakka stumbled on an impromptu mini-concert of sorts, with a bald young man with some killer tats dancing around in a circle with a sort of monkey-creature that seemed to be enjoying dancing just as much as his owner. He was wearing ear-buds that were plugged into a media player that was tucked in the belt around his saffron robes.

Wakka you are such a Luddite.
But the kid was singing a song. He wasn't sure why he was singing this song, but singing it he was.
"Hey," he called out. "What're you doin?"

Curious about the temple, he and Pikachu began to wander through it, occasionally scrambling up over any obstacles rather than taking the route a normal person would.
"Anyone home?!" Ash called into the emptiness.

He was careful not to touch the anything, though. He would hate to damage something and disturb the order of the place.

"Welcome misfits, orphans, all
The ones who feel they don't belong
You were made to rock, so stand up tall
Go rock the world and prove them wrong!"
The singer couldn't carry a toon in a bucket, but sounded like they were enjoying themselves thoroughly.

He shifted himself intangible and floated up to see if he could spy the singer. They might want to be aware that they did not have the temple entirely to themselves at the moment, after all.

It was a little different, being Kaya now and stumbling into this place. She still felt the same amazement being here, but she couldn't help but be nervous. She knew full well who had called this here: she could feel that familiar presence as if he never left, and if it had been Nima, it would have felt different to her.
No point in just barging in and being noisy though: she walked slowly, drinking in its majesty, looking for Aang.

And, knowing how much she hated being interrupted during said sessions, she sat down several feet away, drawing her knees up to her chest.

She began to wander inside, feeling oddly drawn to the place, but she stopped herself before going too much farther. For all she knew, this could be someone's home. She hadn't exactly been invited.
"Hello, is anyone there?" she called after a few moments of consideration, hoping that she wasn't interrupting anything.

"Wake me up before you go-go
Don't leave me hanging on like a yo-yo
Wake me up before you go-go!"
It was probably a little surreal, singing an ancient temple like that, from another world, and hearing lyrics to a Wham! song right in the middle of it. If she kept walking, she'd eventually find a young monk in saffron robes, with arrow tattoos, dancing around with a strange little animal.

The singing and dancing boy caught her eye instantly, he would have been hard to miss, and she wandered another step closer.
She watched for another moment before finally offering a tentative, "Hello."

What? Sometimes that was just how he said hi, especially if it was someone he hadn't seen in a good long while.
"How are you?"

What a strange thing to be on the ship. He wondered if the hawk belonged to someone.
Part of him hoped it was free. It seemed nicer that way, to see a hawk flying free through the sky.

She recognizes Aang from Marco's descriptions of him, and gives him a little wave. "I was a little disappointed you didn't bake a nail file into it."
no subject
"I don't think you would've managed to file the bars fast enough to actually get out before your sentence was up. Did you like it though? There wasn't much left for ingredients so that was one of the last ones I'll be able to make for a while."
