Martial arts training meeting go [so so open]

Morgan having made the call for anyone interested in their potential class to come meet them in the city, they awaited everyone who said they would be attending. The location itself, at least, was easily spotted by those looking for it, so Tim had approved the suggestion by Morgan for the meeting spot. And it did have a training room.

Tim himself was willing to give them a window of time to arrive, though he wanted to be organised and punctual enough to not keep people waiting either. At least they were able to mingle with each other in the mean time.

First they would have a meeting for those interested in assisting-- as teachers for specific skills or otherwise-- so that they had a firmer idea of where they stood with what they could teach. After that, of course, was the meeting for interested pupils, to organise. After that, they could get sanction to begin.

"I guess we could start by telling you our skill levels then," Hit Girl piped up from somewhere in the back. She remembered to put an extra frost in her voice too: she didn't need people recognizing her, and she certainly didn't need to be the center of attention.

"Me for instance: never really got to do martial arts. I'm more of a hands on, guns in hand, weapons fighter: I've been on the field enough times, and I'm quick and fast when it comes to delivering pain. Because of the nature of how I fight though, winning means I have to take fatal shots, and people apparently seem to be in a huge titfit about that these days. So I figure I should learn hand to hand combat, to enhance what I know and not have to rely on killing so much."

Not that she was turned off killing, just killing LESS.

"I'm Stephen Valkonan. Morgan taught me aikido, and that, primarily, is the art I'm trained in, although I've had some training in ninjutsu." He rubbed the back of his head with a hand, rather self-consciously.

"I can help with teaching aikido if any of the instructors prefer, but I'm not versed enough in ninjutsu to do much, I'm afraid. It wasn't a style I wanted to get deep into, and for my instructor it was more of a family tradition anyay. Beyond that, I'm better at firearms and that sort of thing, myself."

Projectiles and physics and chemical reactions were what he was more used to, in any case.

Applejack looked even more nervous by now. What were all these fancy names? Was she supposed to know something that special?

"Well howdy. I'm Applejack. I've got nothing in the way of formal training, but I can buck harder than anypony. I just hope we can work something out."

Sumeragi had tried to look inconspicuous - she felt a little out of her element here, but with things the way they were, she couldn't focus just on strategy, or even just on strategy and piloting. She wasn't sure if the presence of a talking horse made her feel better or more awkward about this.

"I'm Sumeragi. Been through military basic, but it's been a while, and I've mostly just used firearms occasionally since then."

"Azula, I have been trained in the art of firebending as well as some weapon skills." No sense in revealing the full extent of her talents to a group of strangers...and a talking horse.

Einhart blinked, looking around and blushing a bit. "Umm... my name is Einhart. Members of my family have inherited memories of a distant ancestor of mine, and I've been training my body to use the martial arts and magic style that I remember from him, though I've had some minor training with some other martial arts as well."
