Martial arts training meeting go [so so open]
Morgan having made the call for anyone interested in their potential class to come meet them in the city, they awaited everyone who said they would be attending. The location itself, at least, was easily spotted by those looking for it, so Tim had approved the suggestion by Morgan for the meeting spot. And it did have a training room.
Tim himself was willing to give them a window of time to arrive, though he wanted to be organised and punctual enough to not keep people waiting either. At least they were able to mingle with each other in the mean time.
First they would have a meeting for those interested in assisting-- as teachers for specific skills or otherwise-- so that they had a firmer idea of where they stood with what they could teach. After that, of course, was the meeting for interested pupils, to organise. After that, they could get sanction to begin.

"Hey, Allenby!"

The weapon appeared dull-gold in color, with an odd sense of presence to it, as if it were the most real thing in the room. It was a hand-and-a-half sword, not extraordinarily adorned but certainly magnificent craftsmanship nonetheless.
"This one's mine," he said proudly.

There was no doubting that this was a weapon, a real weapon made to chop people into pieces. And there was... something about it that Allenby couldn't write off as the creeps or just being in her imagination. "It's like... a weapon with soul," she said, struggling to find a good word for it.

He paused for a moment, then added with a little self-mocking humor, "Actually, I'd tell it to you anyway, but it was such a perfect excuse to ask you out I couldn't resist."

Smooth, Allenby.
She didn't make it much better with the awkward laugh that came out next. Asked out? That had never happened before, and for how strong her crush on Domon had been she'd never quite thought about going about dating like
a normal personthat, just by asking. But she was still grinning. "I'll go on a date with ya, but not in the Sensoriums. That place creeps me out."

"Then we'll just have to do something other than a meal, then!" he said with a grin. "Somehow I think the gruel would kinda kill the vibes. Got something else you'd like to do?"

"Not that you need to tell me if you don't want to," he continued, still smiling if a little more seriously, "but why does the Sensorium bother you?"

"Maybe I can get Applejack to make a pie for us. I bet she'd do it if I told her I was on a date." He grinned again. "I figure the traditionals like cotton candy and funnel cake might be a bit hard to come by."

She looked around. The name was familiar... "Applejack--she's one of the horses, right?" Allenby'd heard of them, but how exactly would a horse bake?
no subject
"Yes, she is. Actually I'm going to be teaching her to fight, as well. As best I can, anyway!"
