Moving on up! ... In. Whatever! - [OPEN]
The city air felt so clean and fresh today!
Or rather, it seemed that way in comparison to the Sleeping Halls and those small, throbbing and sometimes when Jr. focused too hard on it, muggy-feeling rooms. The small red-head made his way through the city, few articles of spare clothes draped over one forearm, a set of guns balanced on top of them and held against his chest. He had his other, more commonly used set of firearms holstered at his sides as usual, but that sure was four guns on his person in that moment. With a pair of sunglasses on his head, Jr. looked ready for something exciting, something thrilling. And that something was moving. He'd been surprised at the sudden invite from Zouichi, but easily snatched up the offer - learning the inn he'd be staying in was an old styled Japanese inn was like the icing on the cake, though. Happy at the idea to flop down and fall asleep in something that actually felt like a room, he sped up his walk some, passing by the other buildings and structures as he moved.
[ feel free to be passing by in the city or assuming he's passing by any of the buildings! anyone's free to tag in ]

Bendytimed to after Jr. arrives
The cherry trees in the courtyard weren't blooming at the moment, but they were covered with bright green leaves that rustled slightly in response to the movements in the air. The inn itself was a fairly large two-and-a-half story building with wooden steps up to the interior; Zouichi and Allenby had been keeping it in good repair.

He almost lost hold of the stuff in his arms when he looked up at the inn, now close enough to get a really good at it. "Woah!"
no subject
He raised an eyebrow at Jr.'s reaction. "I guess you don't have many of these at the Foundation?"
no subject
Jr. shook his head. "Not inns like this! The buildings back on the Foundation are made of stone, though - we like to keep its look pretty classic where we can. But still, we don't see many structures like this ... I passed a cool shrine on the way here, too."
no subject
"The Meiji shrine, you mean? I'm surprised that made it here... did you make a wish?"
no subject
And when Jr. stepped into the inn, he looked around excitedly. From the outside it had looked pretty big, definitely acceptable living arrangements (again, compared to what he was coming from).
Also, he could smell it the moment he stepped inside. Places made of wood were the most antique and thus the coolest.
no subject
It was indeed made of wood! Including the floor, which was polished and smooth and definitely had a different feel to it than metal or the weird organic material that made up the halls in the rest of the ship. Sunlight filtered in through the windows as Zouichi headed through the hallway and up the stairs.
"You can pick pretty much any room that doesn't have stuff in it. I'm staying in one of the rooms that overlooks the garden, but there's another one with the same view on the other side."

He's dawdling around the upstairs when he sees Jr. come up.
"You're moving in." It's not a question, since the clothes draped over Jr.'s arm should make that conclusion obvious. Howard tries to keep a little bit of a whine out of his voice. It's not that he doesn't like Jr., but he likes how quiet the Inn normally is, and secretly, ashamedly, he feels possessive and clingy towards Zouichi. He's well aware he's not A+ friend material and feeling threatened is first nature to him. "Who invited you?"
no subject
Yes, these things excited him greatly, Howard. "Zouichi offered a room!"
no subject
"Man, the generic rooms feel like you're sleeping inside someone's pores or something. So gross." He frowns a little. "Yep, it's a real firetrap. If you need an extinguisher I brought one up to my room."
Or, well, not really his room. The room he's crashing in because he's too scared to go sleep in an otherwise empty house (empty aside from the piles and piles of hoarded garbage, at least).
no subject
Jr. had stopped off briefly to drop off his things in his new room. And depending on in Howard would follow the red-head when he literally darted from his room to the library, or do his own thing until Jr. was done with his excited exploration of it. He'd ask another question when the memory came to mind. "So how's that rolly refrigerator business going?"
no subject
Howard does follow, if only because he's curious. He's seen Jr. in a high-stress situation back on Galilee, and he's met Jr. briefly after that, but not enough to feel like he has a solid grasp on Jr. as a person yet.
"Chancellor got stuck in Quest for Cakelot before I got a chance to give it to him, so it's not a business so much as manufacturing stuff without a home. I'm working on making a ray gun now."
no subject
Jr. was in the library and looking around like a kid in a candy store. Fingers brushing over spines lined up on the shelves, moving from one shelf of bookcase to the next, pulling out something if it was familiar or if it just caught his eye. "Ray guns are always useful, but, Quest for--?" A pause as the lightbulb went off halfway into completing that question. "Oh. She always picks the perfect times for doing that, huh..."
He trailed off with a shrug and a shake of the head. "I wish I would have known about this place sooner! This is way better than the Media Library if it's got some of the same things."

"Hey you!" She waved expansively at him.
no subject
"Zouichi told me you lived her, too. This place is so cool!"
no subject
"So you're gonna be movin' in here? That's great!" If that was all the stuff he intended to bring, Allenby wouldn't be surprised; there hadn't been much to shift from her own quarters. "Just watch out for the hot springs."
no subject
He grinned. "Yep! Zouichi invited me. Of course, if it's okay with you, too." He cocked his head at the talk of the hot springs. "Watch out for'em?"
no subject
"And of course it's okay! Hah, I like havin' friends around." Her grin took on an embarrassed quality. "And well... you know, when you've been runnin' around all day and it's dark out and you jump over the walls... you gotta pay close attention to where you land."
...but maybe Jr. wouldn't have that problem.
no subject
That awkward look easily turned into a confused one at hr wall-jumping statement. "Jump over the walls at night? You do that often or something?"

At the question, Jr. let out a small sigh as he smiled. "The Sleeping Halls ... not the most luxurious place. But since that's sort of the default go-to I didn't have much of a choice."
no subject
She blinked at that. "I see. My friend... didn't let me go over there, she just brought me to where she and her mothers were staying."
no subject
"So you had people you knew already when you first woke up? Believe me, you're not missing anything down there!"
