Holes and Patches [OPEN FREE FOR ALL]
After the battle, the warriors' task was over. Their job, for now, was to rest and recover for the time being.
The healers' job, on the other hand, was far from over. Some exhausted from the battle, others rotating in, they took to their bay and continued the process of treating the wounded. Some patients were free to leave in a few minutes, while others would have some time (or quite some time) on the cots. Their mission: relax. Stay as still as possible.
Unfortunately, the temptation of so many familiar faces alive and about would ultimately prove to be too great. Keeping track of this group was going to be a third task all its own.
[this is a free for all for all your injured! Have them socialize, be thorns in the medics' side, try to escape, or bring the medics together for some action. Just note in your post if you'd like a medic to visit your character---if not, it's time for a chat!]

"Look, I've no wish to intrude, and I'll not stay long, but I've been thinking. What Superman did for us, for the crew...it means a lot to me."
He knows what he's about to say isn't really enough repayment for someone who's given their life, but he wants to do something. And the best thing he can think of is what he mentioned to Leon on the Omnicoms.
"It may not be much to offer in return, but if you'd like a piper to play at the funeral, I'd be honored to do so."

"I'd really appreciate it if you could. Give him a good sendoff like that."

"When you're ready with the arrangements, let me know? Either on the Omnicomms, or Rory will know how to get in touch with me." A quick glance around still doesn't provide any sign of Rory, and Jamie's brows knit together as he tries to figure out where he might have gotten off too. Was he off helping the injured?
"Has he had a chance to come by yet to see ye, anyway?"

"Ah, all right. I just wanted to make sure he's around if ye needed him." And since he is, there's no need for Jamie to track him down. And maybe it'd be best for him to get going for now, and give the man his privacy.
"I'll talk to ye later on, then."
