Holes and Patches [OPEN FREE FOR ALL]

After the battle, the warriors' task was over. Their job, for now, was to rest and recover for the time being.

The healers' job, on the other hand, was far from over. Some exhausted from the battle, others rotating in, they took to their bay and continued the process of treating the wounded. Some patients were free to leave in a few minutes, while others would have some time (or quite some time) on the cots. Their mission: relax. Stay as still as possible.

Unfortunately, the temptation of so many familiar faces alive and about would ultimately prove to be too great. Keeping track of this group was going to be a third task all its own.

[this is a free for all for all your injured! Have them socialize, be thorns in the medics' side, try to escape, or bring the medics together for some action. Just note in your post if you'd like a medic to visit your character---if not, it's time for a chat!]

Only one person here could be oh-so-right, and that was Soren. "Ranger and rider what?"

Oh, just what he needed, someone with a head injury. While he could lend her a quick helping hand here, he really shouldn't help a delirious patient walk off without supervision.

"I'm sure 'Leon' can wait until your condition is a little more stable. In fact, it would probably be best if he came to visit you, rather than the other way around."

"I kinda doubt the Captain of the Ship would make time right now when he's at a meeting I should be at," Lash countered. "I'm fine, really, just a tiny bit of...ow!...pain in the chest, but the rest is," in pain, "fine."

"If he were a solid leader, he'd make time," said Soren, rather disapprovingly. "Especially for a subordinate with valuable intelligence who was wounded in the field."

But he relented. "If you're not allergic to magic or some such nonsense, I'll patch you up enough to hobble over there. Of course, you'll have to return for further treatment."
