After the battle, the warriors' task was over. Their job, for now, was to rest and recover for the time being.

The healers' job, on the other hand, was far from over. Some exhausted from the battle, others rotating in, they took to their bay and continued the process of treating the wounded. Some patients were free to leave in a few minutes, while others would have some time (or quite some time) on the cots. Their mission: relax. Stay as still as possible.

Unfortunately, the temptation of so many familiar faces alive and about would ultimately prove to be too great. Keeping track of this group was going to be a third task all its own.

[this is a free for all for all your injured! Have them socialize, be thorns in the medics' side, try to escape, or bring the medics together for some action. Just note in your post if you'd like a medic to visit your character---if not, it's time for a chat!]

Ronnae's currently, single, bright teal eye looked over at Hoshi. The presence of someone familiar at least brought a smile to her face.

"I'm fine, they jus' don' get that..." she huffed a little, wincing as she leaned up on her bed to get a better look at Hoshi.

"How about you? How did you fare?"

"Clearly we must revolt, huh?" Hoshi replied, moving to sit down by Ronnae's bedside.

"I'm okay - just fractured my wrist and all that fun battle stuff, things like that. How are you, other than irritated at the medical staff?"

Ronnae giggled, moving so she had a comfortable space. "I'm fine, I'll heal fast enough. I just got distracted long enough for them to deal a hard enough blow to incapacitate me." Not to mention almost kill her if she hadn't been grabbed by the field medics, but she didn't have to go into detail.

"Aside from that attack, I was perfectly fine."

"Ouch. I did something along the lines of using up my energy to defeat a large batch of Ohm. I'm paying for that now," said the beyblader with a little chuckle.

"I can imagine you must've been awesome, huh?"

Ronnae blushed heavily and looked down embarrassed. "I-I... I jus' do what I've been trained to d-do. N-nothing special..." Asides from being one of the few people who was killing Ohm left and right with melee weapons and bare fists!

Hoshi reached out with her uninjured hand and rested it on Ronnae's shoulder. "Nothing special, huh? I can think of several reasons why you're special, to be quite honest!"

The touch got Hoshi a deeper shade of red as the shy girl blushed even more, now pressing her fingers together in her tell-tale fidget.

"I-I-I... r-really I'm n-nothing special... t-there's so many amazing p-people in the crew... I j-jus' d-do my part s'all."

"Oi, don't make me hug you next, 'cause it's totally gonna happen and I will say you're special."

And to make herself seem threatening, she puffed out her chest and sat there, looking rather silly, but trying to look convincing the entire time.

Ronnae couldn't help but giggle and submit to the overwhelming strength that was her threatening friend!

She smiled and looked down shyly. "A-alright alright... m-maybe a little."

Aww, yeah. Hoshi definitely could agree to that.

"Good! We're settled, then."

"G-good then!"

........

Fidget.....

And then she suddenly giggles, covering her mouth as it turns into a cheerful laugh. At least she was in good spirits.

And that was what Hoshi liked to see; her friends in good spirits.

"Other than the fight, what else have you been up to?"

"Not much really," she took a deep breath as she settled down on her bed and smiled. "I mean, I'm really glad it's over, but it did bring a rise in spirits it seems. Specially since we won."

"What about yourself?"

"Mm, yeah. Victory of any kind tends to do that with someone," Hoshi said, leaning back in her chair a bit. "I'm glad we won, too, but I'm also glad that it's finally over."

She paused, thought about it and shrugged a bit. "I was mainnly getting to know other people and stuff like that."

"Oh, that's good~" she said with a bright smile.

"Maybe you'll cheer them up jus' like ya cheered me~! I'm sure many of our crew members could use it... I sure did." She giggled and stuck her small tongue out playfully at her.

"I'll be sure to spread my cheerfulness around, then!" She was glad that she was able to give Ronnae some of her cheer. It made her feel good inside.

And Ronnae couldn't be happier for her help. She was, after all, feeling rather down and depressed!

She gave her a reassuring smiled and a nod, resting her head on her pillow.

"If you see Billy, tell him... tell him that I'm really happy he kept his promise... and that he s-still owes me something."

"All right, I'll be sure to remember that. You get some sleep now, okay?"

"I will~ T-thanks again Hoshi." Ronnae smiled warmly before closing her eye, Soon finding herself in a peaceful rest.
