Suddenly, Princess Celestia! [Open]

Celestia had lived a long life, but the past few days were the strangest she had ever experienced. She had awoken from a pod in a strange chamber, only to find herself whisked away to a strange maze soon after.

This maze had had her most concerned - as Princess of all Equestria, she had duties and responsibilities, after all. She could only hope that her sister Luna was managing on her own, and do her best to escape this maze and return to her beloved subjects.

Escape came unexpectedly though, when Celestia found herself suddenly dropped from the mess hall ceiling, where she landed on top of one of the tables with a thud, her hooves sending plates and trays and cutlery flying in all directions. Have a rather elegant pony - or perhaps a horse? - with a long horn on her forehead, graceful wings adorning her back, and a mane and tail that was a multicolour and gravity-defying sight standing on your table, diners, looking rather bewildered.

"Oh! I'm sorry. I hope I didn't ruin your meal," she said, with a chuckle. Then she looked around at her surroundings, her expression turning concerned. "Now this doesn't look at all like Equestria..."

"We're on a ship in space!" It was a really simple explanation, but it was basically what was going on. "I thought it was kinda weird when I woke up, but it's not that bad!"

"A ship in space?" Celestia said, blinking. "How very peculiar. However does it fly?"

... That was a really good question.

"I'm not sure! I haven't really thought about that before..."

"Well, we'll have to find out then, won't we?" Celestia said with a mischievous smile. "Perhaps it is magic."

Although magic that could make a ship fly through the stars would be very powerful magic indeed...

"Do you think it could be magic?" After Sburb, the possibility was definitely there-- even if the ship seemed pretty sciency in nature... it was still possible! "That would be soooo cool!"

"Why not magic?" Celestia said, laughing. "What else do you think could achieve this?"

"... Science? Maybe it's a combination of both!" Jade let out a giggle of her own. It seemed like a good possibility, at least!

"Now that is an idea!" Celestia said, laughing. "Perhaps indeed it is both. We shall have to find out."

"I'll try to find out!" Jade joined Celestia in her laughing, whoever this horse was, she really liked her. "Oh! Um-- by the way, I'm Jade!"

"A pleasure to meet you, Jade. I am Princess Celestia," she said, gracefully bobbing her head.

That got a gasp from Jade. "You're a princess??"

"Yes, I am," Celestia said warmly. "I am ruler of Equestria, along with my dear sister, Princess Luna."

"That is sooooo cool!" Jade gave Celestia a huge grin, "It's nice to meet you, Princess Celestia!"

"Thank you," Celestia said, smiling. Then she looked up, peering around at the mess hall. After running all those mazes, it was good to see a different place - but there was still more she needed to see. "It's been lovely talking to you Jade, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to run. I'll need to start seeing more of this ship!"
