After being escorted to a suitable lodge at the Crew Quarters, Rapunzel wasted not a minute nor second at the opportunity to explore the city portion on the ship. It had quickly become her favorite haven and almost everything was a new discovery waiting to be touched, awed, and then quickly replaced for something better. It wasn't long until she set her sights on something that was so incredible and unheard of that there were no words to explain her emotions upon seeing it.

The public restroom.

Whatever this room of fountains and rivers was, it was fascinating. The running water, the bathroom stalls, and just the fact that everything seemed to be running off some strange source was a mysterious yet puzzling mystery. How anyone managed to figure a way to make water appear with just a turn of a nozzle was either a phenomenal magician or a crafty handyman. Unfortunately, she didn't seem to recognize the signs that may or may not have stated which one was men and women, so anyone that was currently inside the male's side had the unfortunate surprise of witnessing someone burst into bathroom to to play with all the working gadgets, faucets, and toilets. A plumber she was not.

"A river in a bowl! Who thought of this?!" She exclaimed, turning the water on and off ecstatically. "Whoever did must be a genius with water! I wish Pascal could see this!" Rapunzel bubbled while splashing a bit of water into the air from the sink. No, nobody bothered to tell her just what the bathroom were actually used for. An explanation just wasn't needed for someone who had never seen one before. All that mattered was that someone had created a magical room of water. And there were only a few words to describe such a discovery.

"I can't believe all of this is here! What if I get in trouble?This is too incredible!!" It was at that moment she realized that being on board a foreign ship wasn't so bad after all. At least for now.

"Uhm, painting?" It was what she always did after she finished eating. Right before reading and a little after playing her guitar. Just a number of things to keep her active in the tower. "Oh! You mean cleaning! Why didn't you just say that, silly?"

"No, no..." Shoutarou leaned on the wall, bopping his head against it a bit.

Why couldn't he bring himself to just blurt it out?

"Are you alright?" Rapunzel asked, showing a little concern for the male who appeared exasperated. It didn't quite click that it was because of her, but there was still concern for him.

"Is it a headache? Maybe you should drink some water!" And there was plenty of that.

"Fine, fine...just..." Shoutarou sighed, wiping his face again, and waving a hand to dismiss the suggestion of water. "I'm just bad at explaining things."

"It can't be all that bad!" She replied with a soft smile. "Hey, what's your name anyway?

...oh, right, he hadn't introduced himself. Whoops.

"I'm Shoutarou Hidari, miss..."

"Shoutarou ... Hidari?" For a moment she wanted to immediately comment on the name, but for some reason she knew better when her own name was often criticized for its strangeness. Perhaps other worlds catered to other names, ones she had no capability of pronouncing correctly. "It's nice to meet you ... Shou. I hope I didn't interrupt you from doing anything!"

"Likewise, miss, though..."

Hey, detective. This is your bladder. I AM VERY MUCH FULL RIGHT NOW AND I NEED SOME RELIEF SO GET THIS KID OUT OF HERE.

...yeah, he kind of forgot about that in the midst of the discussion. "I really need to pee, so could I bother you to step outside so that I might do that?"

"Oh. OH! Oh..." Oh. And after a bit of awkward standing and a sheepish kind of smile, Rapunzel made a quiet 'oops' before exiting the room so he could do ... that. Not that she understood why he would use a room with so much water for that.

Plumbing. How does it work?

It would take a minute or so before all of her hair was out completely and privacy was given to the male. "Okay! All clear!" she shouted from the other end.

Ahhh, finally it gets through to her!

And then it takes what feels like an eternity for her to get her and her hair out of the room, but once that's done, he relieves himself.

Several minutes, a flush and the sound of water running from the sink later, Shoutarou exits with a sigh.

"So ... you're better now?" She asked awkwardly, not quite sure how to make conversation with someone who just ... well. Went.

"Ah, yeah. And now you know what I was meaning earlier, I do hope." Shou's just as awkward, if not a bit more. Yeeeeah.

Topic shift time!

"...so, um. You ever consider a backpack or something for all the, erm, hair?"

"A backpack?" Her brow raised, mostly because the change of topic. On the other hand, it didn't really surprise her much that it was once more in regards to her hair. "Why ... why would I do that?" She laughed nervously, gathering a few feet of her own hair into her arms. "It's perfectly fine!"

"Well, it's quite nice hair, but doesn't it get really dirty being drug around on the ground and/or floor like that?" It was a logical question, really. "Plus if you carried it on your back, that's less strain on your neck and head," he added, pointing to his own neck for emphasis.

"It can get a little dirty, but not by much. Besides, I clean my hair as often as possible! It's easy to tend to when your schedule is completely free!" She answered.

"Aha..." Shoutarou nods, adjusting his hat. Well, this was certainly awkward.
