Over the City, Marco was soaring overhead in osprey morph, looking down on the buildings below as he flew. Right now for Marco, things were looking pretty good. Jake was back. Cassie and Tobias were back. If it weren't for the fact that Rachel was still running mazes, they'd have had the whole gang back. He was pretty sure they soon enough they'd find themselves in the middle of another disaster (they always did), but for now, they were here, and they were alive.
He banked right, intending to fly on towards Cassie's house.

<Stacy keeps you small? Huh. I would have thought she'd want you bigger. You know, considering that the whole point of her picking us up was to get us to fight the Ohm. You'd do a lot more damage a full size,> Marco said, thinking. Had Stacy manipulated Celena's own DNA? She'd have had to, for Marco to be affected by the same change. Unless she was keeping both of them smaller some other way. Marco wasn't sure which of those options was preferable - neither of them were particularly appealing, and the indicated just how much control Stacy had over their lives.
Swinging his tail round so that it hovered just in front of his nose, Marco peered at the markings. <What, so they change according to your personality? Well, there goes any hopes that I could pass myself off as the real giant flying casino,> Marco said, his thought-speak full of cheek. He'd never had any intention of pretending to be Celena.
He titled his head slightly, considering something that had just occurred to him. <Wonder if that means they'd change if you ever got infested by a Yeerk...?> he added, more to himself than to Celena. Although the idea of Celena being infested was a seriously scary one. But if her marks changed if she got infested, then at least everyone else would know that she wasn't herself anymore...

"Indeed, perhaps, though if I was at my full size at all times, it would have made navigating the ship itself somewhat more difficult," Celena looked down to the ring on one of her forepaws before looking back to Marco, "I myself had no ability to change my shape or size on my release aboard ship, indeed, I would have taken even a greater amount of room in the pod caverns," She let her mind linger on the thought before shaking her head. Touching the ring before speaking aloud two words, "Polymorph, Mebghail" her form shifting in the space of a moment to that of a red haired elf, "A gift from Aibghalien," she explained simply.
Celena shook her head with some amusement at his cheek, "Indeed, they are individual for each personality or consciousness," she replied before tilting her head thoughtfully, "It would depend on the extent of control such a Yeerk would have, but I would wager there would be a notable difference, perhaps not as striking as the change in your markings, as my consciousness would still be present," she commented thoughtfully as she walked around him once more in her elven form, it was different to see the size difference from the other side of things.

He flexed his wings a little. What would it be like, flying in this form? It was a whole different shape to a birds, not to mention bigger. Seriously bigger. <Unless they decide to give release it, Yeerks have total control,> he said.

Celena rose an eyebrow with some amusement at Marco's comments, "Just as he has one of his own that does the opposite, one that allows him to take on the form of a dragon similar to myself," she couldn't help but smile at the thought before looking up to Marco, if there were ulterior motives, they were ulterior motives shared.
He had her attention once more as he flexed those large wings of his, he knew well what she herself could do with those wings. "Indeed, then a substantial change would likely be noted, particularly if their control gave them access to the energies,"

<Lucky you,> he said dryly. <If you ever got infested, at least people would realise what had happened. Not that I'd want to see you infested in the first place.> He flexed his wings again, peering down at Celena's elfen form. <Okay, I don't know why you decided to get all elvish, but there is no way I am not trying out these wings of yours. You going to come, or are you going to just sit around and moon over your boyfriend for a while?>

"Indeed, one can hope it would not come to that, but in the event it is something of a relief to know," she commented with a dip of her head before peering up to him, "Merely to get a different view on the matter. Oh? and miss a chance of flight? I am very much interested to see just how well you can fly in my form," and besides who's to say she can't do both?

Keeping a careful eye on exactly where his tail and wings were (Celena was pretty big, and he didn't want to accidentally knock anything over while he was still getting the hang of the morph), Marco headed back out to the landing pad. <I might not be able to do all your fancy showgirl moves, Vegas, but you've still got a whole bunch of instincts that tell you how to fly. I'm not going to go and fall out of the sky. Unless your flying instincts suck, in which case I am totally blaming you.>

Giving him a moment and enough space she followed him back out to the landing pad, chuckling at his comment, "My instincts are perfectly fine thank you, I'm sure if Aibghalien's polymorph can pick up enough to fly I'm sure you're morphing shall," she replied with an amused grin, sweeping an arm out across the landing pad "After you,"

<Hah!> he cried, exuberant. Sure, he'd flown plenty of times before - but it never really stopped being fun. And flying when he was a creature of this size was definitely a new thrill.
Of course, Marco was still careful - he kept to simple maneuvers, just gliding around and keeping airborne as he got used to the new morph.

Celena couldn't help but grin at the sight and sense of his exuberance on take off. She watched on for a moment as he flew about, getting a hold on her form even as she began to walk towards the end of the landing ramp, speeding up to a run before leaping off the end even as she spoke the command words to the ring, her form changing even as she dove off the edge, wings snapping open and swooping right on up past him. What could she say, she liked to show off from time to time when it came to flight.
no subject
<Oh, sure, show off in front of the new dragon won't you?> Marco said with a roll of his eyes. He glided around in circles, just letting the dragon's instincts control the flight. Strictly speaking, while the body mass was all different, it wasn't too different from flying as a bird.

He looked down on Celena, thinking. This morph was definitely one they could use. Not for infiltration, or anything that needed subtlety - he doubted that he'd ever be able to hide like Celena herself could, not without the years of learning that must have gone into that - but this was a morph that could fight, and fly. Tobias might fight as a red-tailed hawk, but he was always limited to the odd surprise strike and keeping an eye out for the rest of them. Celena had firepower.
If Celena agreed to it, Marco was pretty damn certain the others would want to acquire her as well. But would she go for it?
<Hey, you do know that I'm not the only one that can morph, right?> he said, cautious. He'd be careful about mentioning exactly how many of them there were for now, but he knew Celena would have to at least know about Rachel.

"Indeed, Rachel at the least, though I suspect she is not the only other," she replied with an interested glance across to Marco, she had a fair idea of just why he had brought it up, though she thought to confirm, "What did you have in mind?"

"It is a possibility, I would wish to meet those who you propose to acquire my form, I will not have my form misused after all,"
no subject
<I'll need to see what the others think,> he said, not willing to answer for the others yet.
no subject
"Once you have spoken to them, let me know and we shall see where things go from there," she replied easily, if she could meet and get to know who she was to allow to take on her form she would have a better idea of who might use it to the good of all or misuse it. Marco she could deal with, after all without training in the use of her energies she was confident she could easily restrain him should he attempt to misuse her form.

Speaking of the others - it was time he got back home. <Anyway, I gotta head back. Thanks for the scales, Vegas.>
