Over the City, Marco was soaring overhead in osprey morph, looking down on the buildings below as he flew. Right now for Marco, things were looking pretty good. Jake was back. Cassie and Tobias were back. If it weren't for the fact that Rachel was still running mazes, they'd have had the whole gang back. He was pretty sure they soon enough they'd find themselves in the middle of another disaster (they always did), but for now, they were here, and they were alive.

He banked right, intending to fly on towards Cassie's house.

Now there was something she hadn't seen in a while, a particular osprey that she had noticed following her flights rather closely for a time, before she had even been inducted into Kang's Intelligence network. After helping watch others and the knowledge of others who could take on such forms she had a suspicion that the osprey in question was more than it appeared.

Fortunately for her, she had decided to fly high that day, stretch her wings a bit more and watch the city where she couldn't be easily seen, time to see just what the Osprey was. Thus as the Osprey banked she too banked, gliding in closer and closer, staying just a little above where he would have a hard time spotting her at first. That is until she spoke over the wind, "A find day for a flight wouldn't you say?"

Marco, admittedly, hadn't really been that focused on looking around to see who else was in the air. So when Celena spoke, it was somewhat caught unawares. He turned sharply in the air, startled, flapping his wings madly as he tried to find the source of the voice.

Finally spotting Celena, he slowed, not saying anything for a few moments. He had followed her for a few weeks, back when he was still working for Intelligence. She'd never spoken to him then. But it wasn't too hard to put together the pieces - back then, his ability to morph hadn't been broadcast over the network. Celena had obviously put two and two together, and figured it out.

<It'd be a better day if I didn't have to worry about giant flying casinos falling out of the sky,> he said finally, while also silently cursing Kang.

Celena slowed her own flight and arched her wings to follow as he turned sharply, easily keeping up with him. Slowing her pace to come up along side him, watching hip quietly and curiously as she waited a moment should he decide to reply.

She gave a snort of amusement at his reply. Confirming her assumptions that it had indeed been Marco. Even if she hadn't recognised his voice through the thought-speak (which had her interest already!) she knew of no one else that used such a name for her.

"Marco." She greeted simply with barely concealed amusement, "I hope I didn't startle you, too badly,"

<No, why would I be startled?> Marco said dryly. <After all, you're only as big as a bus and suddenly descended down on me from above. What's there to be startled about?>

Celena cocked her head, fair point there Marco, "Be thankful I'm not at my full size then," She replied with some amusement. After all she was near half her true size.

<Right,> Marco said. He glided over by her wing, thinking. If he'd been human right now, his eyes would be narrowed in suspicion. He knew she was in Intelligence, and if she'd realised that he'd been spying on her, she was being unnervingly polite. <Did Kang send you?> he demanded, his thought-speak laced with distrust. Had Kang decided he had to watch Marco now?

The mention of Kang and his suspicion drew a raised eyeridge from her, that he thought Kang had sent her pretty much confirmed that he at least knew about Intelligence, his clear distrust hinted at a falling out, after all Kang had revealed his abilities. Thus she leveled her gaze at him, "No, he did not, I was merely out for a flight and came across a familiar Osprey," she replied making it clear that she knew of his spying.

"Now why might Kang wish to send me to you I wonder?"

<Because you're in Intelligence, and I'm not. Not anymore,> Marco said flatly. Now he knew for sure that she'd realised he'd been the one spying on her, there was no point in avoiding mentioning Intelligence anymore.

Well that explained some of the distrust in his tone, she assumed though it had something or all to do with what had happened during the incident of the melting clock, "Indeed. You think he sent me to spy on you?" She replied calmly as she glanced across to him.

"If I wished to do so, why did I not stay above unseen?" She commented, after all if he had indeed been watching her, he knew better than most how well she could keep from notice should she wish.

Tobias was investigating his new home. Well, new in a way. Cassie's barn was familiar (he'd never been inside the house), but the area surrounding was different. He couldn't just fly off and find his meadow. Now it was a jumble of strange buildings, ranging from the mundane to the bizarre to the unknown. Still, there was room to fly here and some mild thermals that helped keep him aloft.

When he spotted the other raptor, he knew right way it had to be one of his friends and banked towards it. Ah ha. The osprey. Had to be Marco.

<Why fly around in real sky when you've got not-sky?> Marco said, slowing down a little to let Tobias to catch up. <Sure, we're flying around in the middle of a giant piece of space faring meat instead, but at least here you never have to worry about a sudden thunderstorm.>

< We don't have to worry about the weather at all, for that matter. > Was that a hint of bitterness in Tobias' thought-voice? Could be. He flaps once or twice, raises to be level with Marco.

< Why the Osprey? Just decided you wanted to get some air? >

<Except for rain. Sometimes that happens in here, though don't ask me how.> Marco might have heard the bitterness, but he didn't comment on it. The wasn't really anything to say, anyway.

<Nah, not today. I'm just heading back to Cassie's house. Why take forever walking, when you can fly?>

< Seriously? It rains here? > He can't wrap his head around that. What the heck? Then again, the air in the ship is pretty humid.

<Seriously. I told you man, this place is insane.< Marco said. <It's not so easy to fly around in the rest of the ship though. I mean, you can do it, but most of it doesn't have open space like this, you know?>

There was a roar, and then a draconic orange beast soared directly under Marco. A boy wearing a baseball cap and a yellow mouse were riding it.

"Woohoo!"

Marco banked left hard, trying to get out of the way of she shape coming up from below. <Hey! Watch the hell where you're flying, you...> Marco trailed off, finally taking in the appearance of the new arrival.

Baseball cap. Yellow mouse. Freaking orange dragon.

<...You have got to me kidding me,> he said in disbelief, staring at what was apparently Ask Ketchum, Pikachu, and Charizard.

"Huh?" Ash asked curiously, as the trio looked around while Charizard hovered, trying to figure out where the voice was coming from. "Who said that?

Which was understandable. If there was one bird in a city, there should be hundreds.

Marco had started eying Charizard - wasn't that thing supposed to hate Ash? He was pretty sure he remembered it hating Ash. Although the kid did look older than the ten he was meant to be.

He was halfway through wondering if Ash was from later on when Ash spoke. At which point Marco was immediately distracted by the need to laugh. <Oh man - you think I'm a pokemon?>

"That's usually what I'm supposed to think. Do you know how many animals aren't Pokemon where I'm from?" Ash said defensively.

<Everything can't be pokemon. Otherwise what the hell do you guys eat?> Marco said. He moved to fly a bit closer - although not too much. He wasn't so sure he trusted Charizard to not try and fry him. <But here's a hint, because I'm feeling generous - except for the ones you've apparently brought with you, there are no pokemon on the ship. And I'd bet that yours is the only world that even has them at all.>
