Once Shoutarou was settled in, Hoshi went to the Sensoriums on the HardBoiler with the Lost Driver and Nazca Memory in tow. She felt like there was new energy inside of her by what happened at the Narumi Detective Agency, definitely ready to put forth her energy into making Nazca work to its' fullest potential. Sure, it wasn't like aiming for Xtreme, but she didn't feel like she was being left out of the fun. No, she was going to help protect the smiles of those on Stacy along with Philip and Shoutarou.

She walked inside of an unused Sensorium and waited for Philip to come help her learn about the Nazca Memory as they agreed upon.

Now that she had more of an understanding about Nazca, Hoshi went to somewhere in the city, ready to try out her new powers. She stood perfectly calm and composed before attaching the Lost Driver to her waist, it wrapping around her. Then, she held up the Nazca Memory and clicked it.

"NAZCA!"

"HENSHIN!" she called and placed the memory in the slot of the Driver. She spread her arms out and felt flames and light surround her, transforming her into Nazca. Her hand took the Nazca Blade out of its' sheath, twirling it around, and she ran it over her gloved hand.

She wanted someone to train against just to see what techniques she could gain from this form so that she can utilize all of the skills that Philip previously showed her.

( OOC: Okay, so the first part is for Philip and Hoshi while the second one is free for anyone! Feel free to bother her about the transformation or anything else, as well! )

She nodded her head, taking a final sip of the water she materialized and she stood up again. "I'll definitely give it time. No pain, no gain, right?"

And, it was true that she had a high pain threshold. With the kind of sport she actively participated in, it was pretty much needed.

"Yeah! It'd suck if I couldn't."

"Trust me, I've been there. It only sound like a good thing."

He watched her rise carefully, judging her motions. That all looked good. "What kind of training do you normally do, then? Since that was new but within your power for sure."

"I can imagine."

She gave some thought to it, since she really didn't stick to one specific training regimen as she tended to do them all so that one area didn't get weak while the others were strong.

"Everything, mostly. It's just to make sure that one part of me doesn't suffer while the others get stronger."

"Where'd you learn all this, anyway?" After all, most people didn't understand the idea of balance or even how to properly train one muscle, let alone all of them.

"My father helped me out in the beginning. He's in the military, so he gave me some military training in order to help me out. And, then, after that, I read what I could, paid attention to what they told us in gym class.

"And, while I've been here, I've had help from my partner to learn more techniques so that I can maintain my body here."

That just... sounded wrong, so he had to run his hand over his mouth quickly to cover up the smile.

Miltary, of course, would explain quite a bit. "There doesn't seem to be any regimented sort of fitness here. That surprises me a little."

"Well, you can't do just one thing, so after a while, I decided to go read up on fitness stuff and applying it to myself. And, then, if I got bored of my current routine, I decided to change it up a bit," she explained, grinning.

"And, maybe also incorporate some dance moves along with that."

"That's always good for aerobics. All I know is Dance Dance Revolution, though. Somehow the more refined types never made it onto my skill list," he said with a grin.

She chuckled at Morgan, grinning back at him. "I tend to do whatever I feel like at the time."

And, then it suddenly dawned on her that they never traded names. Oops.

"Oh, yeah! My name's Hikari Hoshi, last name, first. It's a pleasure to meet you!"

He couldn't help but laugh as he offered her a hand to shake. "Morgan Knight. We talked on the omnicomms, if you'll recall!"

"Ah, that we did!" Hoshi said, shaking his hand with a good grip behind it. "A pleasure to meet you in person, then, Morgan!"

He in turn had the sort of perfect grip that businessmen and politicians would kill for. Yes, he'd practiced it; he did fall into the former category, after all. "Oh no, the pleasure's all mine. Where are you from, out of curiosity?"

She wasn't foreign to the type of grip he had, what with how many people she tended to know back home. "I'm from Japan! I live near Tokyo with my father and my mama. How about you?"

"Born in Pittsburgh, which is where my Earth home is," he said. "I actually live -- well, lived, in a nexus umbral realm. To be honest, it wasn't terribly different from this ship in terms of the variety of people that showed up there. I'm lucky, I guess, to be prepared for all of this."

"I think I heard about Pittsburgh once or twice on the news when I was in New York," she commented. An eyebrow raised at the nexus umbral realm, however. "What's the nexus umbral realm?"

"From what I read, I guess it's sort of like a world in the middle of the Bleed. Someplace where countless worlds and societies meet, or at least have access to. There are ways to it from thousands and thousands of different worlds and different times."

He punctuated all this with a shrug. Truth be told, he didn't really know much about how or why it worked, just what he knew resulted from its existence.

Now, that was interesting. She knew Philip would get a kick out of researching something that big, if it was in the Gaia Library anyway.

For now, though, she settled for a awestruck look, her attention grabbed. "That's gotta be something. I wonder if it exists here."

"Since I'm here, and I was there before I was here, it was probably destroyed too," he said, quietly. His main coping strategy for dealing with the loss of everyone he loved or cared about, barring one exception, had thus far been to not think about it at all and press on.

"I see... I'm sorry about that," Hoshi said, frowning a bit. She wanted to offer other forms of comfort that went beyond just saying 'I'm sorry', but she didn't know where Morgan's comfort levels were.

Morgan shrugged. "It's nothing more than anyone else is dealing with, here. All the more incentive to put everything back in order."

"Yeah, and we'll do our best to make it happen!"

"Do our best? No," he said, folding his arms. "We WILL make it happen. Right?"
