Obtaining a New Power [open]

Once Shoutarou was settled in, Hoshi went to the Sensoriums on the HardBoiler with the Lost Driver and Nazca Memory in tow. She felt like there was new energy inside of her by what happened at the Narumi Detective Agency, definitely ready to put forth her energy into making Nazca work to its' fullest potential. Sure, it wasn't like aiming for Xtreme, but she didn't feel like she was being left out of the fun. No, she was going to help protect the smiles of those on Stacy along with Philip and Shoutarou.

She walked inside of an unused Sensorium and waited for Philip to come help her learn about the Nazca Memory as they agreed upon.

Now that she had more of an understanding about Nazca, Hoshi went to somewhere in the city, ready to try out her new powers. She stood perfectly calm and composed before attaching the Lost Driver to her waist, it wrapping around her. Then, she held up the Nazca Memory and clicked it.

"NAZCA!"

"HENSHIN!" she called and placed the memory in the slot of the Driver. She spread her arms out and felt flames and light surround her, transforming her into Nazca. Her hand took the Nazca Blade out of its' sheath, twirling it around, and she ran it over her gloved hand.

She wanted someone to train against just to see what techniques she could gain from this form so that she can utilize all of the skills that Philip previously showed her.

( OOC: Okay, so the first part is for Philip and Hoshi while the second one is free for anyone! Feel free to bother her about the transformation or anything else, as well! )

Philip wasn't alone - Shoutarou came along as well. After all, he had information about Nazca as well, and maybe there'd be a shot at getting to form Double again. After a year of not doing so, he was more than likely rather rusty.

Stepping in, Shoutarou glanced around at the room, before stepping up near Hoshi. "Odd place..."

"It can be. Normally, I'd train in a warehouse of some kind or my stadium, but it's not big enough for this," Hoshi replied to Shoutarou as she turned around and glanced at him.

"Do you have a specific place in mind for all of us to train?"

Philip was presumably lagging behind the pair, having doing something with Mikku. However when the pair stepped in, the world dissolved into a warehouse, light streaming in from various sections of the room as Philip stepped into view.

"Shoutarou, the sensoriums can create anything you desire," said Philip, gesturing towards the dark environs everywhere. "While I could bring the library to life here, there is a easier way to do this."

And he looked to the left and the right as he drew what appeared to be a side arm. Several other men walked into view: a young man dressed in a grey school uniform, a man with white clothing and sandy hair, and a assured looking young man with red eyes and a streak in his hair.

"Henshin if you would please," said Philip, a smile coming on his face. "We're going to test this straight away."

Shoutarou blinks as the world changes around him, head jerking around in fascination. "Whooooah..."

At Philip's urging, though, Shoutarou put his belt on, then reached into a pocket. He hovered over the Skull memory a moment, but moved on to find the Joker one instead. He held it up and clicked it - JOOOKAAAHH! and then slotted it in. "Henshin." He shoved the belt buckle over...

"Right," Hoshi agreed as she took out the Lost Driver she had, attaching it around her middle. She felt it wrap around her waist before holding up the Nazca Memory.

So, pretty much she had to do what felt right here, and that was it. Clicking the Memory, she heard it speak, "!" before slotting it in the Driver.

"Henshin!" she called, extending her arms out. As a result of the transformation, she had both flames and light wrap around her form and changed her into the Nazca form with the Nazca Blade at her side. She took it out of the sheath, twirled it around and then ran it over her hand, ready for anything to come her way.

"It's an easy enough test, just defeat your opponents to measure the power we have at our disposal," said Philip.

boasted the wild looking young man with the red streak in his hair as he held up a black case.

Wrapping a belt around his waist, he pressed the button as a melody played (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZLsnOUprbk&feature=related). Swiping the front, a robotic voice proclaimed before a set of armor folded onto him.

Striking a pose, he proclaimed

With Den-O standing there, his other companions sighed as the sandy haired man shook his head.

"Yossha!" exclaimed a bat, flying into the room and being caught by the young man who thrust it into his hand, the bat adding, "BITE!" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtSAMbur5F8)

Markings on his cheeks appeared in a stained glass pattern as a belt formed from chains around his middle. proclaimed the young man and hung it from the belt.

Liquid metal formed and exploded outwards, forming the armor of Kiva as the third sighed. "Well a test is a test, right?"

Placing a bulky looking belt around his middle, the young man pulled out a cell phone and flipped it open. he pressed the 5 three times (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKXTMmsZBBE) and a soft alarm echoed from it as a metallic voice proclaimed

"Henshin!" Thrusting his arm into the air, he pushed the Faiz Gear into his belt, and the same voice proclaimed, Lines wove across his body and in an instant, Faiz stood there.

Philip nodded. "In the sensoriums, anything is possible as long as you can imagine it. Being part of the Earth, I was able to recreate these Riders. Their powers are at my disposal since I control the scenario. Now then, let's get to work in unlocking Nazca's powers."

Slotting a card into the sidearm, a sharp noise was heard (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gscx5-Gp1fE") with a male voice proclaiming,

Raising it over his head, Philip proclaimed, "Henshin!" and pulled the trigger. Three images of green, red and blue began to cascade around him as the same voice exclaimed , . Cloaked in blue and black with cards forming a mask, he gestured to his friends. "Let's go."

Shoutarou flips his hand, then tilts his head a moment. "Not messing around, eh, Philip?"

No sense in wasting time, though - Shoutarou charges forward, picking Kiva as his initial target and throwing a punch. "Let's do this!"

"Guess there's no better way to train," Hoshi remarked, a little smirk hidden by her helmet. She decided to pick Den-O to fight, since a little bit of swordplay practice definitely wouldn't hurt her right now.

To get the best out of this, with every sword slash she gave, she followed it up with a couple of kicks, just to catch him off guard. She wondered what attacks Nazca had, but she supposed that would come later on in this fight.

"Be careful out there, guys!" she called out, making sure to watch her own back in addition to watching her partners' backs, too.

Kiva met Shoutarou's attack while Den-O went for Hoshi, swinging his sword. "The key to unlocking Nazca's powers is combat!" he exclaimed, ducking around and shooting more, keeping his range from his friends. His strategy was two fold: choosing Diend not only offered him a wide range of powers, but his limited stamina wouldn't be depleted. "Combat refines the Gaia Memory, allowing for a wider range of powers!"

Pulling a pair of cards from his belt, he slotted it in, locking them into place one at a time.

Shooting forward, two more Riders appeared, a woman in white with a thin sword and a serpent-like enemy with a saber as well. The pair seemed to glare at each other before another card was loaded.

"Stand still a moment," said Philip, shooting Den-O in the back. In an instant, he changed form into what appeared to be a red horned Oni.

exclaimed Momotaros, waving his arms angrily.

"Just go, Momotaros." sighed Philip. Honestly, he really was difficult. But time to amp up the odds.

Research told him that the components of Double and Nazca empowered themselves when they had more opponents to fight, and that being said, he loaded one more card into his gun and pulled the trigger.

The two appeared, the first in TaToBa, the second wielding his weapons. But instead of joining the summoned Riders, they moved to reinforce Hoshi and Shoutarou. "They'll be your backup," explained Philip.

"Ah, good to see you again," said OOO, nodding politely. "Oh, and a new ally? I'm Eiji Hino, nice to meet you." he added to Hoshi.

"I'm Asamu, pleasure," said the kid-Rider. Clearly someone had been dipping into the AR literature.

"Oi, you all. There's no time for this chit chat," reprimanded a familiar voice as a hand dropped down next to them. Hey Shoutarou it's your favourite disembodied hand! "They're coming."

With that in mind, Femme and Ouja leaped at the pair as simultaneous scans through their visors were heard. STRIKE VENT.

Shoutarou kept a steady assault of melee attacks on Kiva. "Philip's right - it seemed every time I clashed with Kirihiko, he got stronger - and once the memory was passed on to someone else, it grew in strength from fighting Philip and I."

And then there was backup - OOOs, Hibiki, and...a flying arm?! "What the hell is that?!" Shoutarou exclaimed, pointing at Ankh--just in time to get knocked over by a punch from Kiva since he wasn't paying attention.

"Right! I'll keep that in mind. Thanks, you two!" Hoshi said as her sword clashed with Den-O's, a hand positioned on the blade itself to push him back. However, it seemed that for a moment or two, Den-O was overpowering her, but with a surge of light coming from her back, she was able to push him back, twirling her sword in her hand once more.

The light didn't dissipate after the fact and when OOO and Hibiki were summoned, she nodded at the both of them. "Hikari Hoshi, nice to meet you," she said, giving a nod to Eiji and Philip himself. Then, a pair of large red-orange wings (http://i52.tinypic.com/2wbzw2t.jpg) sprouted from her back and hovered her up in the air.

"I'll take it from the air. Think you can take it on the ground?" she asked OOO, who nodded in response. With the confirmation given, she soared up into the air and was about to go after Femme, however she noticed Shoutarou getting hit by Kiva. Swooping down, she aimed a kick straight for Kiva's head before aiming a sword slash down his back.

"Are you okay, Shoutarou?" she asked, slashing at both Femme and Ouja in the process.

ADVENT. In a flurry of motion, a large cobra and swan appeared between the combatants and it advanced on OOO and Nazca, intent on doing them harm as Kiva took the strike from Hoshi and tumbled forward.

Placing a fusilage into Kivat's mouth, there was a whistling noise as his chest and right arm turned blue as he held up a new sword. Kiva Garuru leaped into the battle once more as Hibiki moved to protect Shoutarou as he got up.

Drawing his sword, Momotaros rushed int screaming, "Ikuze, Ikuze, Ikuze!" as he attacked rapidly, Faiz joining in with his own energy sword.

"I'll be fine," Shoutarou answers before getting up, and switching Joker out for Metal, turning away from the fray as he changed. The Metal Shaft blocks a blow from Momotaros, then Shoutarou spins it around as he turns, aiming to retaliate by striking at Momotaros and any other opponent within reach.

"Tch, I've got something special too!" Hoshi said, not exactly knowing what she was doing, other than just going with the flow here. Instinct went through her and she made the blade surround itself with flames licking at the metal itself, though not damaging it. She went after the cobra with an image of a bird (http://www.onagocag.com/nazbird.jpg) was shown, increasing in size.

"Nazca Striker!" she cried out, aiming a giant slash at the cobra to hopefully weaken it while she flipped back in the air to get out of the resulting explosion.

She wasn't sure if that was included with the memory itself or it was used by the previous owner, but that kind of attack definitely had its' nice share of power right in it.

They were doing really well, Faiz and Momo clashing with Shoutarou's Metal Shaft and the Advent monsters clashing against Hoshi. Ouja wasted no time in retaliating with an attack, slashing his card through the visor. Sword Vent and his sword appeared as he moved in to attack the flying Rider.

Hibiki moved to reinforce Shoutarou as OOO received another medal from Anhk who tossed him it. Scanning it, his form changed, giving him green blades on his arms and a green chest. He was intercepted by Femme and was reduced to dodging.

"Eiji! The hell are you doing? Finish her off!" yelled Anhk.

"I can't, she's a girl!" exclaimed Eiji.

"Tch. Poor match up then..." snorted Anhk.

Observing the pair at work, Philip smiled under his helmet as he loaded a card into his DienDriver. "Very good, but let's see a memory break level attack."

Leaping back, Momotaros's sword glowed red as he generated power. "My hissatsu... my hissatsu attack part 1!"

reported Faiz's belt as he closed it up.

Final Vent proclaimed Femme's visor as well as a swan burst into view.

Sensoriums.

From everything that had been described to him, or that he'd read on the omnicomms, they were essentially an upgraded version of his holotheater back home. Upgraded and creepier, since they read out of one's own mind, but he had enough confidence in his mental defenses to venture in without much concern.

Of course, just his luck he'd picked an occupied one.

"Oops! Sorry!"

Hoshi, as Nazca, turned around and took the memory out of the Driver as her henshin broke.

"No, no, it's okay!" she said, giving him a smile. "I don't mind it that much. I'm kinda used to other people walking in when I use these things."

Shoutarou spun around once he'd driven Faiz and Momo into powering up their own attacks, and drew the Metal memory from his belt, and plugged it into the staff.

METAL - MAXIMUM DRIVE!

"Metal Pugil!" Shoutarou yellled, holding the Metal Shaft out - the ends gained extra layers of metal, covered in rivets. He twirled it around behind his back, then charged Faiz and Momotaros.

"I didn't mean to, though, that's for sure."

He watched that removal-and-break with intrigue, along with some measure of bafflement. "If it's not too much to ask, what's 'these things'?"

Hoshi had been knocked down to the ground when Ouja's slash hit her nearly dead on, however what was surprising to her that she didn't lose any attack power, but yet gained more. She picked herself up and then nodded at Philip. She took the Nazca memory from her own Driver and placed it in the Nazca Blade itself.

She stuck her blade in the ground as a projection of a spider (http://nicholasspyer.files.wordpress.com/2010/04/spider.gif) was shown, increasing in size. When this happened, tremors began to shake the ground itself, themselves being quite powerful. She took out the sword from the ground and launched herself at Femme and Ouja.

"Nazca Earthquake!" she shouted, firing off two very powerful sword slashes right for them and their Advents.

"You're fine! Really!" Hoshi replied, smiling at Morgan.

"Oh, these are Sensoriums. Whatever you want to create is possible through these. It's like a hologram, but not quite. I tend to use them to train so that I can have the experience that I know works for me, and manage to come out stronger than I would normally."

"Oh, I read about those. I did come here on purpose! I thought you were referring to... whatever it was you're doing," he said, waving a hand at her absently.

"Ah, I see! Did you want to train or do you need help navigating around here?" she asked, placing the memory away for now, but she still kept the Lost Driver around her midsection.

Faiz shot a cone towards Shoutarou the moment Momotaros's sword erupted from its hilt. Swinging the blade to meet the Metal Pugil attack, Faiz launched himself into his trademarked Rider Kick. But both were struck by the Maximum Drive and were knocked backwards, vanishing with twin shouts.

The attacks cleaved through Femme and Ouja's Advent monsters as they were blown back, vanishing into thin air.

Philip smiled and nodded. "Good you two!" he praised as Hibiki and OOO vanished. "Now let's get serious."

The two Riders materializing, Tsukasa gave the pair a look. "Oh? Well, this is certainly a surprise."

"Yeah, but we can't go easy after all." Yuusuke placed his hands near his waist as a belt appeared and he began to make arm motions, Tsukasa strapping on his belt.

Dusting his hands, Tsukasa raised his K-Touch.

In a flash of light, Decade became Decade Complete as Yuusuke boiled over with darkness, assuming Ultimate Darkness Mode.

"Don't hold back on me either," said Philip, holding up his own K-Touch.

In a flash of light, Philip was Diend Complete and he loaded his gun. "Shall we?"

"Oh, I wanted to compare this to the holotheather I'm familiar with, actually. Very similar principle, but this is more advanced by far. I used to do some extensive training in a simulated environment," he continued as he stepped further in, "due to a lack of secluded mountaintop dojos located right next to my home."
