It had been a long time since the last pod pop but fortunately for Rein, her entire stock had been doubled since the last time they had made landfall. Armed with new fabrics both familiar and alien, and her legion of sewing machines, dress dummies and such, and her new tenant to boot, Rein was able to take on the world.

Or at least clothe it.

Sending out her customary notice to come visit the store, Rein opened the door to Stormwind Clothiers and awaited her first arrival.

"In the most technical sense. I'm all biological still." said Rein. "I eat and breathe and talk like everyone else, but I was made from what people would call magic."

"Magic?! No!" Donna said in disbelief. "You're having me on, aren't you?"

"Nope," replied Rein. Was this a face that would lie? Tease maybe but lie, never. She smiled at that. "Magic's just another form of energy manipulation and calculations. The people in my world have it down to a science, but it's still unpredictable at times due to certain levels of magical output, like my own meister, Hayate. Great girl, powerful mage, but she can't aim."

"You're serious? Magic? Actual magic?" Donna said, incredulous. before shaking her head. "This place is mad, I tell you. Completely mad! Aliens, magic...next thing you'll be telling me that we've got angels and demons running around as well."

"Actual magic." replied Rein, nodding. "This place is pretty weird and I think we've got a few odd people around here with powers even I haven't figured out how they work yet."

[prattlingvoice]

"You know, I'm beginning to think that none of this is actually real. Maybe I'm the one that's gone mad, and this whole place is just one big hallucination. Except I don't know what would be worse - all of this being real, or the fact that I've apparently gone completely insane," Donna said, sighing. She didn't really know what to think anymore.

"So how does this work, anyway? How will I know when you need me to carry something?"

"It's definitely real but really that's for you to decide for yourself," said Rein as she continued to work, taking measurements with a little scanner. She had upgraded from her measuring tape for the time being.

"I'll give you a call on the omnicom system," said Rein. "And from there I'll let you know if I need help moving one thing or another."

"Sounds like we have a deal then," Donna said, holding out her hand. "And if this is all just a hallucination, at least then I'll be wearing something comfortable when I'm it in."

"There is that," giggled Rein as she started to create a outfit for her.

"Do you need me for anything else?" Donna said, watching Rein start to work. "I can get out of your hair if you're busy."

"I should be good, but here, any suggestions for your outfit colors?" She swung the screen around to display the design with a non-colored pallet.

"Oh, that is nice," Donna said, admiring. "I dunno...blue's always nice. Purple too. Reds too, but not orange reds - they look awful with me hair, makes me look like a giant carrot. It's gotta be dark reds, or brown."

"I agree," replied Rein as she worked quickly, scattering several copies of the designs with blue and purple, along with a dark red one. "That's how it'll look like."

"Oh very nice - you know, I think I like the dark red best," Donna said, tapping the dark red design with her finger. "How long will it take you to make?"

"Shouldn't be more than what passes for an hour here," replied Rein. "I'll message you when it's ready. In the meantime you're free to browse what I've premade."
