Insert Rarity's Dress Making Song (Open)
It had been a long time since the last pod pop but fortunately for Rein, her entire stock had been doubled since the last time they had made landfall. Armed with new fabrics both familiar and alien, and her legion of sewing machines, dress dummies and such, and her new tenant to boot, Rein was able to take on the world.
Or at least clothe it.
Sending out her customary notice to come visit the store, Rein opened the door to Stormwind Clothiers and awaited her first arrival.

Thread by thread, stitching it together...
Twilight's dress, cutting up the patterns snip by snip...
Making the fabric folds nicely...
Rarity eyed the human dummies and furrowed her brows in thought. "Are there any books on human anatomy and fashion? I think I need to get myself used to that."
It's the perfect color and so hit
She nodded as several screens appeared, and she lowered one of the floating screens to Rarity's eye level as it showed a nice 3D diagram of human proportions and how to sew for them. "You can use me as a model too, since I'm always around." she added.
Always got to keep in mind my pacing
Making sure the clothes correctly facing
I'm stitching Twilight's dress
Yard by yard Fussing on the details
Jewel neckline Don't you know a stitch in time saves nine
Making her something perfect to inspire
Even though she hates formal attire
Gotta mind those intimate details
Even though she's more concerned with sales
It's Applejack's new dress
Dress making's easy
for Pinkie Pie something pink
Fluttershy something breezy
Blend color and from... Do you think it looks cheesy?
*mew* Something brash perhaps quite fetching
Hook and eye, couldn't you just simply die
Making sure it fits forelock and crest
Don't forget some magic in the dress
Even though it rides high on the flank
Rainbow won't look like a tank
I'm stitching Rainbow's dress
Piece by piece, snip by snip
Croup dock haunch shoulders hip

She knocks on the door of the Clothiers as she enters. "Hello?"

Although maybe it is. Rein seems chipper enough.

Shaking herself, she grinned. "I'm Rein, and this is my store."

"Donna, Donna Noble," she said. "So, how much of my soul do I need to give you to get some decent clothes?"
no subject
"I can make quite a lot. Anything in particular you're looking for?"

(It would have been easier to wear the dress, but Anwei refused to even consider doing that.)
So she was lugging the dress along over her shoulders, along with the matching bustle, bodice, panniers and underrobes. The hat was hanging under one of her arms by its streamers, long feathers nearly trailing on the City street.
She turned, sidestepped, and actually managed to get in the door without dropping anything.
"Hello?" she called. "I have a donation, please."

She unslung the undergear that went with it. "And I can't imagine that anyone else would want to, either, unless they know how to walk with full panniers. But there's all the trim you could imagine, boning, wiring, padding, and plenty of extra fabric along the bottom hem, so if you want to recycle it into something more useful, or several things more useful, be my guest."
She pulled the hat loose and held it at arms'-length, staring at it. Its great crest of mirrors and plumes nodded as she turned it back and forth. "But I should probably warn you about the hat."
