Kung-Fu Human
Some people might assume that, by the way he still wore his coat like armor, and carried his sword slung across his back, that he was uncomfortable, paranoid, or simply overly concerned about being on this ship. The truth was, he wore those as a matter of course.
Free from the slime-filled cocoons where he had apparently been asleep for the Record knows how long, the Akashic had decided that, rather than harass or bother the people who had clearly been here for some time for a tour, he was going to make his own. With the help of the omnicomm in his hand and a general sense of adventure, Morgan was walking the length and breadth of the traversible areas of the ship, poking into corners and making curious noises at various things.
If it was all terribly unsettling to him, he had no intention of showing that.

The City
"Tesla's violet rays, but it's good to see you. So, there are a couple things I can show you down here. The question is, where do you want to go first, really?"

Before anything, though, he held Stephen out for a brief 'are you starving yourself to death forgetting to eat, you moron' check.
no subject
But no, not starving.
"Well?" Stephen asked, impatiently.
no subject
"How am I supposed to pick where I want to go when I don't know the options, Stephen?"
no subject
He arched his brows and grinned. "Or we could just go straight to the place that surprised the hell out of me when I found it here."
no subject
If it surprised Stephen, it had to be good.

But he certainly felt that Doissetep was worth it, considering what it meant to the Traditions as a whole. He gestured to it grandly as they stood on the reddish soil surrounding it.
"I haven't been in there too far yet, for obvious reasons, but how cool is that?!"
no subject
"How did this even get here? I mean, is it -- is this the real thing?"
no subject
"It's real enough, as far as I can tell," Stephen said. "Like I said, I haven't tried to go digging too far into it, because I figured it'd be my luck that something would fall on my head or something. I'd just get in trouble somehow, you know?"
Not that Stephen's intuition was amazing. It wasn't. Still.
"We could always take a quick look or two around. Now. Or at some point."

The City
"I'm looking for the Jedi Temple," he called out. "Could you point me in the correct direction?"
Re: The City
He stops dead in his tracks, one hand lifted up to his shirt -- specifically where the crystal he wears underneath it presses against his chest. Very calmly, he lifts his voice to call back, "I don't know, I'm new here! It might be in the omincomms though?"
Re: The City
In fact, it seems he's managed to open every function on the Omnicomm simultaneously. It is probably calculating Pi and alphabetizing every alcoholic beverage known to man.

"Let's see here.... Jedi Temple... " He shook his head again at the name, even as he started looking it up.

Soren raised an eyebrow at Morgan's reaction. "Are you familiar with the structure in some way? I was told it was where the Magical Department was based."
no subject
"It's a long and fairly awkward story. Let's just say I knew a Jedi or two, and I don't think very highly of the Order as a whole."
To judge by his dark expression, that was putting it very mildly indeed.

He expanded it outwards a little. "It's right close to where we came in, and there's so much unexplored... probably got picked early on."
He lifted the omnicomm a little to attempt to compare their current location to the map. "Matter of criminal justice," he muttered.

The Main Armory
While he had been to the weapons and possessions lockers the other day, Hei had opted to come back to the third level to look at the armory. If he had just been left with a single pair of knives, he was probably going to have to find some alternatives here at some point anyway--best to find them when he wasn't in need.
As he stepped inside, Hei found that he wasn't alone; someone else was already here on the terrace.
no subject
One might assume he was talking to Hei, but honestly he had failed to notice the other man's arrival. He was just speaking out loud.
no subject
"What is?" he asked. Certainly it couldn't be the fact that this "Celestrial Chorus Tradition Blade" wasn't available...

Hei stepped away from the display to stand closer to the window, eyes running down the seemingly endless rows of weapons. Well, it looked like if he couldn't find a replacement that he wouldn't be short of choices on some entirely different weapon...

"Better to have an excess than not," Hei said, casting one final look over at the inventory before stepping closer to the display. His gaze briefly flickered back over to Morgan's sword. "But I doubt you'll be looking for replacements."
Hei, on the other hand, knew all too well about having to replace his weapons after nearly every fight. Broken, lost, jammed too deep into someone's skull too pull out... Replacing his knives had to be his biggest expense.
