"Listening to others, considering well what they say" (Part 3: Maingate Hotel)

The Maingate Hotel was pretty extravagant, and an entire section of it had been eked out for the crew's use during their stay. They had several suites, three communal areas, a conference room, their own kitchen with a chef on call if they required her.

They were all teleported from the main teleport pad of the hotel into the conference room, which was a large enough room to be able to hold a group their size and had plenty of chairs arranged in a circular pattern so they could mostly all face each other or whoever was in the middle of the room.

Everyone had to settle down so they were all able to talk, and the meeting itself would have to be carefully controlled so they wouldn't all talk over each other. But they were up for the task, right?

Uh yes. Truly a word of the wise that was waiting to be finished, there. She finished her bar and threw the wrapper on the side. Room service could take care of that.

"And if you manage to get through all of that they will punch you so hard you'll see the back of your own head coming at you over the horizon in front of you," he added helpfully.

Lash and Zetta will have the most alarming pillow talk in the universe.

So basically like all the other times they talk together then.

"Tee hee hee! See? See, now that's what I call a really good expression. I'll have to find a way to use it later. Like on Zedd or something."

Ahh Lord Zedd. You'd never stop being Lash's favorite buttmonkey.

"Tomorrow we should see what else we can sneak around here. Like maybe a supply of toothbrushes or the towels or shoes." Not that she minded being a hobbit for most of her time on the ship but she did sometimes miss a nice pair of boots.

"If we need to do any more large hauls, I'm not sure where we'll put it. Small loads for a bit... not like toothbrushes are huge. Hey, why the hell doesn't the ship provide for dental health?" Seriously, all that medical tech it already had...

"Who said I only use the toothbrushes for brushing my teeth? They're perfect for brushing away the dust on tiny little gears or a tank shell!" Only a wunderkind could use the noble toothbrush as a bonafide tool of war.
