Blu-Ray special edition Teen Titans memories via the Sensoriums.
It was just another beautiful day in Jump City. The summer had come and the kids were out of school running about having fun the way kids should.
And Beastboy was seated comfortably with some prime seats at baseball game watching an odd mish mash of lower tier criminals challenging the Titans to a baseball game. It had been one of their more silly adventures. But everyone in the stands had been suckered into wearing mind controlling hats and so the Titans had to win or the villains would bring the fans out of the stands to attack the Titans, and mind control or not there was no way the Titans would fight honest hardworking citizens.
So Beastboy kicked back and sucked another one of his alien sodas.
Originally the day had started very differently for Beastboy. He had found himself mildly depressed that his memories of Jump City were apparently no longer sufficiently detailed and that certain locations felt oddly off. Like Stacy had used his memories as a jumping off point and just created the rest as best she could.
But then a brilliant idea had struck him. Back on "The Planet of the swap meet" as Beastboy had called it they had made copies of his memories to sell, and he himself had a set of the copies. Using these he had spent the day reliving some of his favorites. So far he'd watched himself calm and befriend the brothers Thunder and Lightning, Meeting Terra and the subsequent adventures to follow, and now he was picking at random.
He'd yet to have been disappointing by his performance in these memories.
"Maybe after the game I'll rewatch the Japan adventure." He thought out loud as the game began.

"They look like a good team." She glanced at him. "Good people to have on your side."

"Then there's Cyborg, he's super strong and super smart. Dude can think circles around anyone I know. Then there's Starfire, she's actually onboard the ship here. Alien princess, strong, flyer, sweetest girl you'll ever know! And Raven, all dark and mysterious and kind of dry but way cool!" He gushed eagerly about his team proud that he could be included among them. But behind his words was a hint of regret that most of them weren't on board or at least not out of the pods.

"And tell me, who is that strikingly talented green fellow?" She winked at him.
no subject
"I'm kind of a big deal." He winked back.

She put her hand down. "Clerical division."
Her shoulders slumped a little, and her expression turned abashed. "I'm an accountant."

He grinned and laughed, "Well the world needs number crunchers too right? I'm lousy with math."
no subject
No, they couldn't have all been lost. Some of them must have escaped. They must have!
"I hope so. Maybe the Daligig are planning on auditing us. Oh, the spreadsheets I'd need...." She cocked her head. "I was pretty bad at math too, growing up. I had to take private lessons, later." With her AI, of course. "And computer-based math is always going to be easiest for me."
Imagine auditing Stacy with nothing but pen and paper to do inventory and track changes - brrrr.

Before she could ask what a Bird-a-rang was in the backround Robin was chasing what looked to be a pirate and flinging little red bird shaped weapons at him.

"Themed weaponry," she said, eyeing the plumed projectiles. "One-offs, or very limited production runs - I see how that could run up quite the bill."
A pun!
"And I suppose that you weren't government funded, correct?" At least, that was her impression: everyone moved in small groups, or as lone heroes. No organization, no focus.
If only they could be organized...well, that was Stacy's job. Maybe.

She looked at Beastboy. "You said that one of your teammates is here on Stacy. Any plans for starting another group? You obviously have a talent for it."
She didn't know about the Outsiders.
no subject
"But we do have a team like that on Stacy. It's called "The Outsiders" and it's kind of like a club for teens with special powers. We don't do a whole lot but we're around if people need us. Down in the city actually."
And just like that behind them was Stacy's City instead of Jump City. The Outsider's hotel stood tall and strong among the ruined buildings. Beastboy spent alot of his days cleaning the hotel to make sure it was encouraging to those who thought about joining and hanging out.
"Kaya started it, I just kinda, came to help."

She listened to his description of the Outsiders, fascinated. "Is Hit Girl part of your group? I've met her in the Sensoriums; she's a very impressive fighter."

"I'm a long way from being a teenager, but I'd love to stop by and see the place sometime."

She glanced back at the 'field', and the hovering hotel mirage. "Is there more to the game, or is the home run the end of it?"

And they were back at the baseball diamond as the Titans and their enemies resumed play with super powers being legal for the bad guys, but the heroes being forced to rely on their own physical skill. It seemed dreadfully unbalanced, but they would win in the end.
It all came down to teamwork after all.
