Blu-Ray special edition Teen Titans memories via the Sensoriums.
It was just another beautiful day in Jump City. The summer had come and the kids were out of school running about having fun the way kids should.
And Beastboy was seated comfortably with some prime seats at baseball game watching an odd mish mash of lower tier criminals challenging the Titans to a baseball game. It had been one of their more silly adventures. But everyone in the stands had been suckered into wearing mind controlling hats and so the Titans had to win or the villains would bring the fans out of the stands to attack the Titans, and mind control or not there was no way the Titans would fight honest hardworking citizens.
So Beastboy kicked back and sucked another one of his alien sodas.
Originally the day had started very differently for Beastboy. He had found himself mildly depressed that his memories of Jump City were apparently no longer sufficiently detailed and that certain locations felt oddly off. Like Stacy had used his memories as a jumping off point and just created the rest as best she could.
But then a brilliant idea had struck him. Back on "The Planet of the swap meet" as Beastboy had called it they had made copies of his memories to sell, and he himself had a set of the copies. Using these he had spent the day reliving some of his favorites. So far he'd watched himself calm and befriend the brothers Thunder and Lightning, Meeting Terra and the subsequent adventures to follow, and now he was picking at random.
He'd yet to have been disappointing by his performance in these memories.
"Maybe after the game I'll rewatch the Japan adventure." He thought out loud as the game began.

But no; the people in the center were not confined, they could just walk away apparently. This must be some sort of game, or duel, but she couldn't quite figure out who was in charge.
So she lingered by the door, pale eyes examining the players and the crowd, looking for a familiar face if there was one.

Then he spotted someone who didn't belong and waved to her calling out "YO! Dude! Over here!" He pointed to the seat next to him inviting her over.

"Thank you. Is this some sort of a fight?" ash asked, gesturing out at the field. Hitting the ball at the other person seemed to fit an aggression theme.

"This is a sport from my world, "Baseball"! It's really fun to play but kind of boring to watch. Except this game because one team was made up of me and my friends and the other team was a bunch of D-list super baddies." He pointed to both teams respectively.
no subject
"So you and the baddies agreed to play the game rather than fight?" That made sense, actually. Two groups of superpowered people would probably do a lot of damage to each other if they fought in a population center; a lot better to solve their problem with symbolic battle.

The teams were using their powers now and it was getting pretty chaotic. Starbolts and magical bursts exploded across the field.

Midna was used to the bad guys taking an entire country hostage. 'Conquest', if you wanted to call it that.

Permission to copy Beastboy's form
"So the humans in your world can shapeshift?" Interesting. She bent down to touch his puppy head.
Granted~ If you have any questions my AIM is Ibechibb
He used the Sensoriums to speak because when shapeshifted he couldn't do it himself. Meanwhile he wagged his tail and barked cheerfully.
Just a special talent ya know? But it's proof that being normal is over rated.
Okay >B]
"Were you born with this talent?"
fufufu~
The world shifted around them for a moment though the bleacher remained and they were in a jungle as a little blond boy with blue eyes was playing in the bushes near a small camp. A woman who resembled him was working on a jeep, and two men were near a tent discussing something.
"That's me there, I was just a kid at the time and my parents were these super smart scientist types right? They took me with them to a place called "Africa" He had shifted back to his normal form and wiggled his ears, "And then I had my accident."
A green monkey appeared and the boy reached out to it curiously. It bit him and scampered off in fear. The boy screamed and his mother was upon him in a heart beat, his father close behind. The third person was shouting in frustration that the monkey had escaped.
"That doctor there is "Doctor Register" he was trying to find that monkey. It was infected with a disease called "Sakutia" which is deadly to humans but can be treatable if that monkey was caught and studied I guess. My parents were so desperate to save my life they did genetic experiment stuff on me."
This part was thankfully not shown and when next the boy and his parents left the ten he was green, pointy eared and had fangs.
"My dad figured out what the missing link was between human and beast, and that saved my life, and gave me these cool powers." As little Beastboy changed into a dog for the first time, the real one changed into a green monkey and grinned cheekily at the girl.
