The Hidden Villiage
Several hours after Cargn's message to the command staff, the crew was summoned to the Obs Deck in Stacy's usual fashion. Upon arrival, they would find a mission briefing much like the ones that came before it.
The hologram next to it would show a rather unusual looking planet, with a single, massive ocean taking up the majority of the surface, and a single, perfectly circular continent taking up the rest. It appeared rather unnatural at first glance.
Planet Designation: Unknown. No records of a system existing at this location can be found. All information is based on preliminary scans.
Status: Terrestrial, H-class.
Non-sentient life: Extensive flora and fauna.
Semi-Sentient Life: Unknown.
Sentient Life: Unknown.
Water: 74.8% of the planet's surface.
Climate: Temperate.
Landscape: Mountainous.
Air: Normoxic concentration. Slightly elevated levels of carbon dioxide.
Air Pressure: 101.3 kPa (kilopascals) = 14.7 psi (pounds per square inch)
Sky: Blue. Occasional cloud cover.
Sun: A class G2V, yellow star.
Warnings: No records of this planet exist. Suggest taking extreme caution while planet-side, as dangers that have not shown up on preliminary scans could exist.
Mission: Scout planet's surface and locate artifact known as the Tapestry.
Well. It certainly wasn't much to go on. But the Tapestry seemed to be important enough to the crew, so it might be worth the risk.
Maybe.

"I'm open to suggestions on spell loadout," he said out loud without looking at anyone. "I'll have a standard assortment of offense, augmentation, and utility, but if anyone has any requests or specifically synergistic suggestions..."

I would think it would be prudent to let them know you can transform, pointed out Philip. Keeping back information like that will only serve to diminish our abilities if we're set to the back lines.
Right, got it. Also, are you somewhere where I don't have to look for you when I come back? asked Hoshi, her arms folded over her chest.
I'm in my room doing research. Just let me know when you need to transform. replied Philip.
All right. I'll be safe, partner, stated Hoshi with a small smile as she turned to the group that was now forming.
"Ahem," she began to speak, clearing her throat. "If it also aides us, I have the ability to transform into Kamen Rider Double. The left side will be me and the right side is my partner, Philip. The eyes on the mask itself will blink on the corresponding side to indicate which one of us is speaking. I also have a few gadgets here that can help us out, too," she said, pointing out the items (http://seraphimengel.livejournal.com/2056.html) she had on her person.
"And, this guy--" she said, pointing to the eagle on her shoulder. "--also transforms into an archangel. If you're either unable to fight, or something along those lines, he can protect you."

How odd was this? First Aqua, now Hoshi? At this rate, she wouldn't be surprised if the rest of her sister collection showed up!
She had finished readjusting her Wayfinder back into her outfit as she approached her other sister.

"Hey, Sasami. You got selected, too?" she asked, giving her sister a bit of a grin..

She stood silently, watching the others prepare.
Re: Arrivals
Given that track record, the young master fiddled with her Wayfinder. She'd already made sure her armor pieces were secured and ready should she need to summon her full armor. Now, it was just a matter of waiting and praying everything didn't fall apart.
Re: Arrivals
Right behind Aqua was Sasami, surprised to see her on this mission. Admittedly, she was surprised to be here as well. Thankfully, Rein Zwei had finished her outfit and was wearing it just in case. Probably the only obvious difference is that Sasami had her hair up in a single ponytail than the usual pigtails, in her hand was a staff that was usually one of her hair ties.
Re: Arrivals
"Sasami? What are you doing here?"
She couldn't help but worry now. Terra had gone off on his own. Ven had gone off on his own. But even though Sasami wouldn't be alone, that Aqua would be here and so would everyone else, just the thought of the danger they'd faced being anything close to what might happen here was chilling.

"Just a little nervous," she insisted with a smile.

She nodded. "I guess I'm a little nervous. Not really sure what to expect."

Well, a good thing about mission was that it meant Hakkar might finally get some exercise. The Grey Warden stood off to the side, stroking the top of Hakkar's head. The dog remained vigilant, and his stub of a tail wagged back and forth.

She raised her hand. "Um, what's a tapes try?" she asked. Hey, it could have been a compound word.

"A rather powerful artifact, in this case," he replied simply. "It's rather important, so we have to go down and get it."

Re: Questions and Answers
The Doctor consulted his watch, tapping it on its face as he turned to glance over at the milling crew in search of the Brother. He was probably around, lurking or hovering or doing a lurk and a hover both at once (big scary men had a tendency to have that -- don't ask him how they got so good at it) and it wasn't terribly difficult to pick out the man after a moment. The Doctor headed right for Brother Thane, spreading his hands and all smiles despite the Yellow Alert.
"So! Congratulations!" The Doctor clapped Brother Thane on the shoulder. In that exact same motion he turned to peer at the planet with its odd circular continent and the sheer amount of water there. He turned back to Brother Thane. "Anything unexpected? I do hope the Melting Clock didn't interfere with it."
"Interfere" was a massive understatement, considering how tricky timey-wimey anything could be, but he assumed Brother Thane was intelligent enough to know what he was getting at. For being a big scary scarred man without eyes, the Doctor rather thought the Brother was bright, too. He also liked that in a man.

Planetfall
||Beginning detachment procedures.||
There was a sudden lurch as the Obs Deck detached from the ship proper, followed by the weightlessness of space as it approached the planet. In a matter of minutes, though, they were dropped back down as the Obs Deck touched down.
One of the large walls dropped down, forming a ramp to the ground below. Upon exiting, the crew would see that they were inside a large, forested valley. There were only a few clouds in the blue sky above.
Re: Planetfall
"According to the Map," he said to the crew in general, "The most likely resting place of the Tapestry is half a kilometer straight ahead."
Re: Planetfall
"Guess we're in for a walk, then." Leon turned to address the group. "Everyone stay together and keep your eyes peeled for trouble."
