Reliving your past through innocent eyes. [Open]
Now that everything was over, and people regained their memories and appropriate ages, Ronnae found herself staring at the sketchpad her younger self was carrying around. She was somehow scared of opening it. Fearful that the memories would be too painful. She had, after all, done her best to not think about things while on the ship. She knew it would only bring her heartache knowing that they might or might not be in the pods and even then, would they be the same?
She sighed as she settled under the large tree that made up Nokosi's house, slumping down till she sat on the grassy floor, relaxing against the smooth bark of the tree. Placing the sketchpad on her lap, she looked at it with hesitation, maybe she'll take a peak.

Moreover, when she did speak of herself, it was to people she genuinely cared about.
"Before I awoke here, I had been fighting in specific war, and the participants are each assigned a specific class when they are summoned by their respective Masters depending on the legendary weapons they wield -- their Noble Phantasms. One of those classes is the Caster class, those who prefer to use magic. The more ancient the Caster, the more powerful their magic tends to be, and the ones from the eras when True Magic existed are the most powerful. They are the only ones capable of harming me with magic.
"On the opposite end is the Saber class, who possess swords as their Noble Phantasms. We are a pure melee class, and considered the most favourable one due to our specific abilities."

"So you had high defenses against that sort of thing then? I bet casters must have been very annoyed trying to fight you." She added a bit amused.
"Kind of reminds me of certain enchantments or abilities some of our warriors had that made them almost immune to all magic."
She looked up in thought and smiled, "I can only reflect spells, but that's only if I focus well enough during the battle."

Saber tilted her head to one side slightly as she continued. "The Caster I had fought in the War I was after my own era, hence less powerful. But his legendary weapon was a book that generated endless Prana.
"Moreover, one of his skills was summoning hordes of creatures from the netherworld, which he could do endlessly so long as he had enough Prana. Coupled with the aforementioned Noble Phantasm, and I was at something of a disadvantage until I was healed of a particular wound."
Some part of her was surprised that she would speak so much about it. Perhaps she was lonely?
"It is quite beneficial for a warrior to have," she replied with a nod. "Otherwise, a swordsman would be helpless against a magic attack at range."

She paused and smiled, "Well if you're here it means you're quite the amazing swordsman yourself! Finding ways to overcome disadvantages is one of our jobs right? Or we wouldn't be able to protect those under our charge."

"Perhaps... though Lord Zetta is not a Servant, himself."
She suppressed a weary sigh, keeping her face carefully neutral. She had failed in her duty, after all... and it wasn't certain if she would be able to rectify that failure. Not now, if the Grail had been destroyed along with the rest of her world and she could find no alternative. "I am uncertain if my strength is enough, but... if I can do some good, I have little cause to complain."

She looked up, a bright yet stoic expression on her face. "I'm sure you feel the same way. Striving to protect others no matter what comes your way. If anything, we're in this together. I'll be at your side when we face our enemies in hopes of restoring our worlds."

In turn, that meant eliminating their mysterious enemy, the one threatening to similarly annihilate all realities.
"Protecting others is the sworn duty of a knight," the tiny blonde agreed. "It is our sword duty because it is right."
A rare, faint smile broke through her mask. "It will be an honour to fight alongside you."

She was really glad Saber had passed by as it certainly put her at ease from the state she had been prior. Someone who understood some of her worries and still carried the virtues of being a knight, someone she admired, just like her fathers.
