Reliving your past through innocent eyes. [Open]
Now that everything was over, and people regained their memories and appropriate ages, Ronnae found herself staring at the sketchpad her younger self was carrying around. She was somehow scared of opening it. Fearful that the memories would be too painful. She had, after all, done her best to not think about things while on the ship. She knew it would only bring her heartache knowing that they might or might not be in the pods and even then, would they be the same?
She sighed as she settled under the large tree that made up Nokosi's house, slumping down till she sat on the grassy floor, relaxing against the smooth bark of the tree. Placing the sketchpad on her lap, she looked at it with hesitation, maybe she'll take a peak.

"I'm ready cap'n, lead us on our journey then?" she teased in her sweet voice.

Nokosi tilted his head down and peeked underneath the cover at the picture underneath before flipping the page back and revealing it to Ronnae.

He tugged on one of her pointed ears. "Perhaps you are not Ronnae and she was whisked off to the Emerald Dream?" He questioned with wide grin.

"I s-still nap... it's just more spread apart nowadays is a-all. It's s-still very much me!" she said embarrassed with a timid smile.

"I think you captured the telltale traits of everyone well. There is your mother," he commented, pointing at the green woman with purple pigtails down to the ground.

She kept her head rested on Nokosi's shoulder as she tried to get back her focus and try to fight the tears away... a task that was proving to be very difficult.

"Sapphire was very gracious. And Mayu- I taught him how to catch the sun one time. Do you remember that day we all were rolling down the hill with him?" He questioned, turning the page.

She held on to Nokosi, nuzzling her face against him as she tried to wipe away her tears.

"I have rarely been so thankful for having such things in my life. It was all very fun, wasn't it? Family...I am happy for yours, even now," he breathed, looking down at the sketchbook.
"We still have plenty to go."

"I'm really happy you're here Kosi... It's helped me so much, and has kept me from losing my mind when I felt like everything was falling apart..."
She leaned up and gave him a chaste kiss on the lips with a shy smile.
"Thanks~ For everything."

With that, she laid her head on his shoulder again so they could continue looking through the pictures.

The next picture was a scrawled one of many different animals all standing around on a grassy expanse of land. In the center of them all was what appeared to be a crude drawing of a troll with a large, red mohawk.
"We did that one together~" he said in a sing-song voice. "Of the stables!"

"They were almost all mischievous tho! Well that, or lazy." she added with a small giggle.

Ah, animals. If there was one (perhaps two) things that could both elicit a melancholy emotional response out of him and make him the cheeriest elf alive, it was speaking about his and other people's animal companions.
"They all had very great personalities, even if some of them were volatile. I do not think the dragons appreciated me as much as they could have," he complained, puffing his cheeks out. "But perhaps I simply spoke too much for their tastes."

She smiled thinking of all the different animals and how unique they each were.
