It's not Pan's [Open]

Cassie'd promised her boyfriend that she wouldn't go near the Sensoriums. She was having trouble keeping that promise. Several times she'd got herself walking there and each time she forced herself turn back. It hadn't been easy.

To keep her mind off of it she tried exploring the city. Eventually she found herself in front of the labyrinth. She didn't want to risk going in there without someone else. And really, she didn't feel like going in there just now anyway.

So she sat down outside and just studied it for a while.

Kara Zor-El was not pleased. That much was evident by the dark look of fury upon her normally pretty features. Her mouth hovered somewhere between being a pout and a grimace, and her eyes had this constant faint red glow to them that she was unaware of. All she'd done was wander around the ship, trying to find something - or someone - to busy herself with. She'd even eaten the slop that the ship served without much complaint.

It was in her wanderings around that she found herself at the labyrinth without realizing it.

She stopped next to the pretty blonde and forced a smile onto her face. It...may not have been the most pleasant looking smile, all things considered. To be more accurate, it may even have been a tiny bit scary.

"Double thinking your decision?" she asked, nodding her head towards the labyrinth.

Kara nodded. "I've been better. Looking for a distraction, really," she admitted. She held out a hand then. "I'm Kara."

"That's my best friend's name," Kara said with a smile. She turned back to the labyrinth. "Why not? Power in numbers, I suppose."

"Yeah," she nodded her head. "Her. I'm, ah, also called Supergirl."

"Whichever you prefer, really," Kara replied. She looked back up at the labyrinth. She was tempted to use her x-ray vision on it, but really, where was the fun in that? "Interesting codename, though."

Oh, hey!

One of the powers that Kara does not possess!

How 'super' do you feel now, huh?

Kara grinned. "That's actually pretty awesome."

"Oh...a few..." Kara said after a moment. "Uh. I can fly. I can run really fast. I can shoot heat vision from my eyes. I have x-ray vision. Telescopic vision. Microscopic vision. Umm. Arctic breath. You know...the...usual stuff." She really hated rattling off her powers sometimes. She felt so...Sue-ish.

Kara smiled. "I'm sure I'd be honored to join it," she said, nodding her head. "It'd be nice to have some friends my own age." Because, for the most part, she's been hiding out in the Fortress of Solitude at home. She has, though, gotten to know some of the Amazons.

And Kon.

But still.
