It's not Pan's [Open]

Cassie'd promised her boyfriend that she wouldn't go near the Sensoriums. She was having trouble keeping that promise. Several times she'd got herself walking there and each time she forced herself turn back. It hadn't been easy.

To keep her mind off of it she tried exploring the city. Eventually she found herself in front of the labyrinth. She didn't want to risk going in there without someone else. And really, she didn't feel like going in there just now anyway.

So she sat down outside and just studied it for a while.

Kara Zor-El was not pleased. That much was evident by the dark look of fury upon her normally pretty features. Her mouth hovered somewhere between being a pout and a grimace, and her eyes had this constant faint red glow to them that she was unaware of. All she'd done was wander around the ship, trying to find something - or someone - to busy herself with. She'd even eaten the slop that the ship served without much complaint.

It was in her wanderings around that she found herself at the labyrinth without realizing it.

She stopped next to the pretty blonde and forced a smile onto her face. It...may not have been the most pleasant looking smile, all things considered. To be more accurate, it may even have been a tiny bit scary.

"Double thinking your decision?" she asked, nodding her head towards the labyrinth.

Kara nodded. "I've been better. Looking for a distraction, really," she admitted. She held out a hand then. "I'm Kara."

"That's my best friend's name," Kara said with a smile. She turned back to the labyrinth. "Why not? Power in numbers, I suppose."

"Yeah," she nodded her head. "Her. I'm, ah, also called Supergirl."

"Whichever you prefer, really," Kara replied. She looked back up at the labyrinth. She was tempted to use her x-ray vision on it, but really, where was the fun in that? "Interesting codename, though."

"So, how did things go?" Dani asked, popping up behind Cassie. She'd decided to take another look around the city and had spotted Cassie from the air, so she decided to come say hi and see how things go.

She was also floating next to Cassie this time instead of the walking of before.

"You're not crazy until you start trying to make clones. Though that might be a bit late in the game," Dani said, looking to be seriously pondering this idea.

"Hiring people to make clones count too, in that case," Dani said with a grin. "So as long as you don't do that, you aren't crazy enough to be thrown into a padded room."

Dani froze at the first comment. Insane in killing your teammates? She looked away, shaking her head. No, no, she wasn't going to think of that.

She plastered on a smile, facing Cassie again. "That's all right," she chirped. "I'm happy to help. I think it's good you care about your dad so much, but he'd want you to move on and be happy, right?"

Kate was conducting a patrol in the city, so her steps took her near the labyrinth as well.

She then paused at the familiar figure sitting down.

"Oh hey," she replied, her frame tensing slightly since she wasn't sure where they were at at the moment.

Kate folded her arms in front of her, and sighed.

"So..."

"I don't know, can we?" Kate shot back, and then sighed.

"Look, we've been through worse, right? We'll get through this too."

Thinking of what her sister Susan would always say, Kate nodded, "It is." And they knew it better than most. They and Teddy too.

"Too short to stay mad at each other."
