Celebratory drinks
It hadn't been long since he'd received the news of his success in obtaining the open spot in the council. He had little doubt that there had been a close running between he and at least one of the others, if their time on the ship and popularity were anything to go by. Nevertheless he had been voted in and he intended to do what he did best. If he could turn Sanction from a down trodden slave ridden city to the prosperous city it was before he'd been brought here, he could help this ship work for the better. He no intentions of letting the crew down.
As he had told Kang over the omnicomms he could hardly refuse a celebratory drink or two, to do so would be rude after all. A good drink on such an occasion couldn't hurt and so he was once more at the door to the Drunken dragon. Pausing for but a moment at the threshold of the door, schooling his thoughts before striding to meet with his fellow councilor, governor and the only other from Krynn. A draconian and a dragon on the same council, even if no one knew of it. They would know in time though, Kang would know in time, but for now he pushed that thought to the back of his mind, tonight was meant to be celebratory night after all.

"Water would be lovely, thank you," she said, and sat back to clean out some of the sawdust from under her claws. "Then of course there's the Prince, who mostly seems to want to please the crew, and h'Nehaalis-tha - one of the very last of her kind, a kind of holy woman. She and Sshe-ta get along about as well as two toms in the mating season."

He picked up the next shot Kang had poured even as Rhiow spoke on the others on the council, nodding as she spoke, he would take all the information he could on his fellow council members. The price he had not heard much of, pleasing the crew was not a bad goal, if not an all too..crucial one when compared to others. Nehaalista, a holy woman? A priestess of some kind? He had dealt with many holy women over his time, many could be rather set in their ways. Shaking his head with a chuckle at the analogy, "About as well as a Dark knight and a Solamnic in the same room? Two to keep an eye on then," He commented with a chuckle and a glance to Kang before downing the shot.

He could still hear the two talking, and when he came back and set the bowl down, he laughed, "Nehaa is a paladin, and she doesn't like demons on principle. She's not anywhere near as insufferable as a Solamnic, though. Nor is Zetta anything like a Dark Knight; he doesn't even bother to pretend to have any honor." It was obvious from the shortening of her name and the tone of his voice that she was a close friend.

"In any case, I look forward to seeing what you will add. We're a big bunch of very different people and it's tough to get us to agree on anything but the most obviously beneficial solutions."
