Reliving A Dream [Open]
A trip to the sensoriums would show to whoever was there that it was in use. Should they step in they would see an elaborate but simple stage with seats all around. The decor and architecture was that of Japanese origin, as were the seat and stage designs. It was very much a 20th century theater of Earth.
If they watched the stage, they would see someone performing with music. But it wasn't just any kind of performance and any kind of music - it was the art of kabuki. The person on the stage was in an elaborate kimono set and wore a long black wig. The face was white with red lips, black mascara and eye-lined eyes, slightly pinked cheeks. White hands came out of the kimono, soft and delicate. The performer appeared to be female from a distance. They also seemed to be deeply into the story that was being told on the stage, the performance simply called "Orochi."
Alright, so this person wasn't any Tamasaburo Bando, but they were decent.

Soon, the performer "shed" one of the kimonos for one that gave a more serpentine look and the fan was even different as well. Oh yes, this was the performance's climax.

However the performance at the sensoriums made Rein pause and sit down, watching with rapt fascination.

That is until they peered into one jar. They suddenly seemed to become frightened, almost ashamed as they hid their face behind the fan.

Soon though, the fan was picked up and dancing grew quick again. The dance became once again of a drunken one. Then, it seemed as though the character was revealing their true self - the great eight-headed serpent. They circled a jar of sake before turning round once or twice before wrapping a sleeve around one of their arms and head snapping out toward the seating, fan in the other hand, the open end pointed toward the scenery behind them.

The fan in their hand closed before turning back to the one who was in the audience, slowly bowing but still remaining silent.

"Beautiful," said Rein.

"Thank you," a very male voice spoke as the person slowly rose from the bow. "I know my onnagata still needs work. There are those who are better than I." But his thoughts were that he might as well be the last one out there.

He fell silent, looking at the wig in his hands. "Or at least the kabuki that was known before my Earth was destroyed..."

"I hear you do tailoring of various sorts," he spoke, "If I gave you bolts of cloth to work with - and keep if you so wish - do you think you would be able to make some kimonos and hakamas for myself and a friend of mine?" He smiled a little. He had heard that she had been running out of materials to work with, so he figured he should help her out a little anyway.

"Oh, thank you very much," he spoke, "I guess I will save those bolts of fabric until you need them then." He gave a smile. He hadn't even taken the make-up off yet.
