Melting Clock: Quarantine
After Sam Henderson's announcement, the Contagion Containment and Treatment lab was going to get busy. Anyone suspected of being affected by the mysterious affliction would be brought here, and put into one of the large bubbles that would keep any potential contagious diseases in - and the patients themselves. Once in inside, they wouldn't be able to get out again until the Medical staff had cleared them.
And before they could do that, they needed to find out what was causing this - and why.
They had a lot of hard work ahead of them.
[[ooc: Just start your own sub threads under the main threads, guys! And if you're happy to have anyone tag in, put "Open" in the subject line. If you've already got plans for who you're threading with, put "Closed" instead.]]

Re: [open to anyone]
Zouichi smiled. "A little like the people on this ship? I'm really surprised at how few conflicts there are to defuse, considering how many worlds are represented here."

"I have absolutely no doubt that they are and that they will," Jeka replied with a nod of her head. She also chuckled a little in appreciation. "Yes, a great deal like that. Life or death situations do have a way of making petty differences seem...well, petty."

Before he could finish his sentence, his Omnicomm emitted a short trill. He pulled it out, glancing at the screen, then smiled apologetically. "I'm sorry; it appears I'll have to cut this conversation short. It was a pleasure to meet you, Jeka."

"I'm a giant snake capable of hijacking people's senses and a strict carnivore in a largely vegan society," Jeka said with a laugh. "Very few people don't find me a little unsettling at first. Don't let me keep you dear, but it's been lovely chatting with you. Perhaps we can do it again sometime in the future, once this mess gets cleared up."

"Ah, no -- the pleasure was all mine. And I'll be sure to look you up again sometime."
With a slight wave and a smile, he left for the exit.
