~Shopping~ [SO OPEN - backdated to shore leave]

So with Stacy's credits, as well as a sell or two of his memories (he found the idea so weird initially, but after thinking about it, he somewhat warmed up to the idea, offering a few of his most beloved but not too serious or personal memories), Snow had finally begun his journey. His journey with Serah to browse around and buy her anything she wanted. He had no idea how often the ship and her crew made stops like this, much less stops on planets with so many things ripe for the buying, so figured he'd play it safe and go all out to spend everything he had.

Snow and Serah could be seen moving about together hand in hand, stopping at this stall and that one to see what they had to offer. Clothes? Trinkets? Random things that Serah thought were cute? Every thing she'd show an interest in would get the same question from Snow: "You want it?" And though the two looked absolutely content in each other's company, they also had a more than open air about them if they spotted any new or familiar faces in the crowds.

[ooc: feel free to run into them at any ol' made up stall!]

Shopping on an alien world: who could say no to that? Not Serah Farron.

The bags were beginning to pile up, though. She realized that anything she so much as paused briefly to look at, Snow wanted to buy her. She had no intention of taking advantage of this, but what could she do besides pretend not to be interested in anything? It was another planet!

"I think you've bought me enough," she told him with a laugh. "You're spoiling me!"

"I guess you're right." He did have a point. This planet had shopping and other conveniences, but the next one could be a barren wasteland. For all they knew, the next ten planets could be barren wastelands.

"Why don't we find something for you, though?"

"I don't know, what would you like?" She smiled up at him. "Let me get you something!"

Gloves. Of course, she should have known!

"There you go!" she said, giving him a pat on the back. "That shouldn't be too hard to track down. Have you spotted any you liked?"

"Okay!"

Serah was happy to have the chance to get him something after the pile of things he had already bought for her. "No, no, I think you've already spent enough on me today!"

Oh? Midna would recognize that shaggy blond head anywhere. She swooped in, especially curious to see a young woman accompanying him from stall to stall. The infamous Serah, perhaps?

"Hey, blondie! Doing some shopping?"

"Guess I will, then. Find anything interesting so far?"

She motioned toward the young woman at his side. "And you're Serah, right?"

"That's me!" She offered Midna a smile and a wave. "I think I've seen you before. Looks like you already know Snow, huh?"

[identity profile] twilit-midna.livejournal.com 2011-04-18 11:13 am (UTC)(link)
Midna put her hands behind her head, letting herself lean backwards a little in the air. "Yeah, he was busy trying to break open all those pods of goo. Which you can get in hot water for, by the way."

She waved a little hand at Serah. "You should keep an eye on this guy, make sure he toes the line."

[identity profile] willnotleaveyou.livejournal.com 2011-04-19 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
Serah had to laugh at that. Sure, she could probably keep him in line better than most people, but Snow was Snow. 'The line' wasn't usually something he was terribly concerned with.

"Getting in trouble already, huh?" She nudged Snow playfully. "Why am I not surprised?"

"Yeah, it does. And you're new, too, blondie -- so make sure you don't end up on the wrong side of the ship." Midna had seen what it did to that woman who'd racked up enough "violations" to merit being punished. She wouldn't wish that on anyone.

"Glad to see you got out okay, though."
