Down periscope! Dive dive dive! [open, btw. come talk to the grouchy green genius, newbies]
Anyone who ventures near the bathrooms will hear odd, strained clanking noises, to the point of possibly making some wonder if one of the Transformers is trying to go and having a hard time of it.
This is not a sign of one of the 'bots on board needing more robo-fiber, however.
Brainiac 5 is up to something.
Surprisingly, his techie hijinks are something he's been ordered to do--Jaime, the one in charge of the team trying to open up more of the ship has tasked him with building things to scout out where the waste goes, to use that to find out more about Stacy's hidden structures and ductwork, and that's exactly what he's doing--building an array in the bathroom to control and track the sensor-bots he's about to send where the sun don't shine.
"Hmm...still losing signal strength..."

As such, he doesn't answer her at first, trying to figure out how to--how to deal with her.
Finally, he says, "I'll leave the 'techno-boring' explanation to your imagination."

She'd like it even more if he had physical buttons to push, 'cause then she'd have an excuse to get all touchy-feely.She feigns being wounded, pouting ever-so-slightly. "Oh come on, Brainy. We both know you're just itching to talk about your project." She walks up to him, smiling again. "Out with it, Cabbage Butt."no subject
There is an air of disinterest in her and her interest. It's pretty much faked, but he'd never admit that.

"I'm currently attempting to fine-tune this tracking device to maintain a connection with exploratory mapping probes to use them to gather more information from Stacy's systems after I send them down the waste receptacles."

Within a half-second, the omnicrud is gone from Brainy's hand. It is, instead, in Kara's hand. She gently tosses it up and down - not too high, just a centimeter or two away from her hand. "Y'know, I was right the first time, Brainy. That was ridiculously techno-yawn-worthy."

"Relinquish it at once."

"Is the problem at hand that you seem to lack an understanding of the definition of the word 'give'?"

He darts after her, but they're right near the door of the restrooms now. She can make her escape.

And she's out the door of the restrooms like a comet.

She's gone already.
He could get an unused omnicom, but only his has scanners and his plans.
Brainy hightails it after her, knowing he won't catch her in an outright race, but knowing her, she'll stop eventually to taunt.
"Grife."

No no no.
No.
Kara's not stopping yet.
She flies into the nearest sensorium.
"Give me a hide-and-seek type thing!" she yells as soon as she's in. "And lock it so that Brainy can't change the settings! I don't want him cheating."

"Stacy, end the simulation."
||I cannot comply. The simulation is locked and will only end at the request of the individual that locked it.||
Sprocking sprockety sprock sprock--
"Kara, this is nowhere near as amusing as you think it is," Brainy says, flying around, looking for her.

Kara whirls around and heads for another exit, intent on keeping as far away from Brainy as possible.

...Er, his omnicom. He wants to get his omnicom back. Yes.
"Why do you insist on being a constant annoyance?"
