I don't even like cake [Open]
Somewhere in the meaty halls of Stacy, a wall opened, ejecting a disgruntled woman onto the deck. She sprang to her feet and directed a stream of invective (mainly in Mandarin) at the wall, followed by an ineffective kick. She'd lost track of time in there (not unusual) and now was back aboard the strange spirit-ship. Not that she'd really left before. With a last muttered curse, she turned and stormed down the hallway. She needed to find out what happened while she was gone. Hopefully, not terribly much.

"Hey! Mends-rhya!"

"How long have I been gone and what's the situation?" Right to business with her. There'd be time for pleasantries later.

"What are the new Garou like?"

"Looks like a real warrior type."

"Can he do anything except make things dead, or is he just another warrior more muscle than brains?"

"Not that I don't approve of what you're doing, but too much of that'll get you a slap to the face by a tentacle."

"Damned thing. I've been running mazes longer than I can care to remember."

"You new? I don't think I saw you last time I was out and about." Which was quite a while ago, if she remembers correctly.

But he had only heard this and that about GLaDOS, so her statement received a confused look in return. "What do you mean last time?"
no subject
"And this GLaDOS thing snatches people from time to time, makes them run mazes. Something to do with the way we're outside of our own universes and how it effects us, I think."

He remembered the part about the mazes from the file at least. "How it effects us? What, is this some kind of out of body experience sorta thing?"
