Time to Relax, or otherwise [Open Bathhouse post, all welcome!]

With the great help she had received from a good deal of interested crew members, the construction and upgrade to the bathhouse had proceeded rapidly and smoothly. The second more open floor looked as much a part of the bathhouse as any other, with enough room and supports to easily allow crew members as large if not larger than herself to access and utilize the second floor just as easily as any other. The second floor itself could be accessed from both within the bathhouse itself or from a set of stairs along the side of the building, a path now leading easily around from the front to show the way to this side entrance.

With the announcment of the completion and reopening of the Bathhouse sent around the comms. Celena padded through the hallways, touring all of the various baths, private, segregated or otherwise to ensure that all were in top working order for any who may wish to use them. Once she was sure that everything was in top condition and the water flowing properly in all cases she set out the open sign.

((ooc: Feel free to mingle around, relax, and have a party if your so inclined. Just start a subthread with your character's location and have fun. For reference there are individual showers in front, followed by hot tubs centrally located, saunas further back, and private baths along the side. The showers, tubs, and saunas have smaller sex-segregated units along with a central group unit that's larger. The second level spans the majority of the bathhouse with both individual rooms and areas with the heating pads as well as open areas one can relax and look out over the surrounds))

He wasn't particularly looking for anyone in here, but by chance and sheer foul luck, somehow Zouichi had made eye contact with one of his fellow bathers while idly scanning the area. And of course that fellow bather had to be a naked woman. Of course.

"Hello," he said, now that it would be impolite to pretend he didn't see her. If he'd known clothes were optional here, maybe he'd have picked a more private bath.

If Nima picks up on Zouichi's discomfort, she doesn't mention it.

"You know you can look if you like," she says, humor infusing her smile. "If I minded, I wouldn't have taken my clothes off."

Zouichi smiles back at her, but the expression is ever-so-slightly strained. "Thank you for your offer. I'm afraid, however, that I will have to decline, Miss...?"

"Sister," Nima corrects, putting her hands together and bowing. "Sister Nima, of the Eastern Air Temple."

So this one is likely to turn out more like a brother, probably. Well, all right - although he's very pretty, so Nima would be lying if she said she didn't think that was a shame.

"Please accept my greetings on behalf of my sisters. What's your name?"

"Kanoe Zouichi. ...but Zouichi is fine." He returned the bow respectfully, a little more at ease because hey, familiar custom!

"Pleased to meet you, Sister Nima. I take it you're enjoying your time here?"

"Isn't that kind of a complicated question? Do you mean here in Stacy, or here in the bath? Because I'm enjoying the bath."

If that wasn't already obvious.

"And I'm enjoying Stacy too, but if I wasn't, I'd have to find some way to enjoy it, wouldn't I? Since we don't have much of a choice."

An enforced journey? She's still feeling out how this sits with her.

"In the baths, of course -- I assume waking up covered in alien slime isn't the high point of anyone's life."

Yep, it's pretty obvious.

"I suppose that's one way of looking at it. You're quite the optimist, Sister Nima."

He'd figured most people would still be at the 'my world has been destroyed, oh god' stage."

"I am an Air Nomad," she replies, modestly. It's the only thing modest about her presently. "We adapt."

Besides, she's still adapting to the "my people were destroyed even before my world was destroyed, and by other humans not aliens oh god" portion of her reawakening.

But air nomads DO adapt, even to tragedy.

"Have you been here a long time? What do you do here on the ship?"

Zouichi blinked. "An Air Nomad? I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the term." Perhaps some kind of analog to the old plains-wandering tribes from Earth?

"Only a few months, actually, and I'm a member of the Security Department. If you ever run into trouble aboard the ship, please don't hesitate to call." He meant that, too; there was usually precious few fights for him to break up, thanks to the Violation system.
