Seek out those similar to yourself [Open]
Hana had been doing this since the early hours of the morning. Well, it might have been morning. His internal clock was still all screwy from this ships' sense of time so it would be more accurate to say that he'd been doing this since he'd woken up.
Details aside, he wandered up and down the many halls of the ship (effectively getting himself pretty lost but he didn't mind), a determined look on his face and a purpose in his stride. Sure, he eventually had to stop for some food because he was never in a good mood when he was hungry, but after that he immediately set about on his mission once again.
His mission was that he would traverse as much of the ship as he possibly could, as many times as he could, periodically placing a hand near his mouth to amplify his voice and calling out to the many inhabitants of the ship.
"HEY! ARE THERE ANY OTHER TEENS OR KIDS HERE!? I'M LOOKING FOR ANY OF THE OTHER KIDS ON THIS SHIP!"
Thankfully, Hana was nice enough to stop and talk to anyone who wanted to question his new odd pass-time, be they child or not.

Or was, anyway, until some kids started yelling at the top of his lungs for some damn reason.
"Dude I hear you, dial it down!" She said, rubbing her ear. "Jeez, do you think kids are hiding under ricks and you have to call them or something?"

But his grumpy attitude quickly dissolved away as he smiled. "But it doesn't matter, looks like I've found someone anyway."
no subject
She looked a little bemused at this. "Ok, so you found me. Now what?"
no subject
"Well, I'm just trying to see how many of us there are. And if any of them are interested in joining a... group? Club?" He paused, looking a little confused and then muttered to himself. "I wonder which it would be classed as?"
He shook his head dismissively, no point in sweating on details like that. "Well, whatever they want to call it."
no subject
"You want a number?" She asked, looking skeptical. "Why don't you ask around for a number. I'm sure there's some nerdy types that do that. If you want to meet them personally, why don't you just send a message to the comm asking for all the kids and teenagers to come to a specific place?"
Jeez. He was all over the place.

He listen to suggestion silently before answering. "Well, because askin' them that way would seem odd. Besides, how would they know it was me and not some weirdo trying to kidnap them or something?"
He shrugged. "I dunno, I just think if they're gonna make a decision, they should at least be able to meet me face-to-face first. Or hear it from a friend who has actually met me. People feel better that way."
Hana just continued to smile before putting forward his own question. "So, hey, what's your name?"
no subject
Why would that have to be exciting?
She stared at him long and hard. "No offense, but who in the heck are you able to kidnap? I mean, there are a few smaller kids here, but most of them have been here awhile. I'm sure they could take you."
She shrugged. "I guess. I'm Mindy Macready."

Hana's expression let up to give a small smile. "What you mad about anyway? Tell me, is it me? Did I bug you or something?" Obviously, it had not occurred to Hana that some people may have been sleeping near where he was shouting for all to hear.
Come to the dark side...we have mutant worms.

The rubbery ball was a simple toy, but if anyone could help her appreciate it she assumed it would be her unflappably cheerful room mate.
