[CLOSED] He's The One They Call Doctor Feelgood
Now Duo wasn't one to call himself an expert on the subject, but he knew it was one of those things he knew he just had to get involved with when he saw it. Just like that guy and the princess.... Duo shook his head as he slid down Deathscythe's wrench to the hangar floor, determined in his intent.
He was gonna make sure that Setsuna and Feldt didn't screw it up.
Strolling across the Hangar floor, he moseyed himself along towards Celestial Being's machines- specifically, towards the Gundam Dynames, trying as best he could to be unseen or at least innocuous looking to Setsuna and Feldt as he did so.
After that, if he could convince Lockon, it was just a matter of the Team of Two breaking the will of Captain and Lady Lineface.

Well, that only served to fuel his suspicions. Darting away from the subject for a moment, he peeked his head out.
"Hey, computer says there's something up with the beam's connection. Does the wiring look okay over there?"
no subject
"You'll have to shut it down so I can take a closer look."

With his tone, it was hard to tell if he was kidding or not, but he hopped out of his cockpit to join Setsuna over the shield's circuitry in any case.
"Hmmm... maybe..." Starting to fiddle, he spoke up again, "But yanno, judging from those other crew reports, something happened down there. With you and Miss Feldt." He gave an annoyingly innocent smile.

"Do you have a soldering iron?"
no subject
"Here!"
He stuck the rather filthy tool out towards Setsuna, beaming. "So, was it a white wedding?" He asked, precariously balancing out of his cockpit.
Duo Maxwell loved to live dangerously, it seemed.

"Try it now," he finally stated, when he was done.
What wedding, Duo?

"Yo, you might wanna back away from there for a sec, I'm testing the beam blade."
Giving Setsuna a few moments to back away to the cockpit platform, he wheeled back around in his chair, and the arm that had been bent in towards the cockpit moved away, shield pointed outwards. The 2 claws on either side of the shield slid open with a sharp and quick metallic ring, and though he didn't actually lunch the shield, the beam on it burst to life-- without incident.
"Well, looks like it's connecting alright, anyway! Wish there was an open range where I can make sure the launch mechanism is workin' right, though," he sighed. "Hey, so did you guys consummate or what?"
...Or maybe he just had a deathwish.

"Find an empty space and launch it anyway," he suggested unhelpfully. "You can handle the rest on your own."
In other words, this conversation was over.

He swayed and fidgeted in his chair, still facing the inside of his cockpit console and away from Setsuna for a few moments, biting his lip to hold back the enormous 'bingo' grin on his face.
"It's not a bad thing to care about someone, yanno," he sighed finally. "And if you take too long to realize it, you're gonna miss your chance entirely."
"Doesn't the world screw us over enough already without us screwing things up for ourselves?"
