Free ice cream! [open]

Alex sat beneath the shade of a large tree in a decent sized park. Those familiar with New York might recognize the sky scrapers in the distance, even if they didn't recognize the park itself.  Parked on a small service road was an ice cream truck with a merry vendor, who claimed that it was customer appreciation day, and was thus giving ice cream away for free.

Alex was already enjoying a chocolate and strawberry cone covered in sprinkles and caramel syrup, wondering if anyone would bother showing up to spend time with him, or even be interested in sensorium ice cream in the first place.

Either way, Alice seemed thrilled, as she pulled what appeared to be pink chocolate chips from a jar labelled "Yogis".  Reaching out to pet Alice, Alex laughed a bit, "Don't get used to eating s-so many." sensorium food might not mess with her health, but once they got home, it would be the real thing once again. He figured that she deserved the treat as much as he deserved the ice cream anyway.

[OOC: Post to Alex or to other people if you'd like.]

Nah, the stutter doesn't bother me

"Nice to meet you Alex, mind if I join you for some ice cream?" Albert asked, while reaching his hand out to shake Alex's hand. He hadn't see many people that looked about his age since The FAYZ, most were adults that he passed in Stacy's corridors.

"Oh, by the way, here is my card." He pulled out his cardboard business card with his other hand.

(a copy of the card is on his page)

"You are welcome." It took Albert a second to register the confusion, " Oh, Just in case you need me, to start up a business or something. It has my credentials and everything," Albert explained. Making business partners was easier for him than making friends.

"What kind of ice cream they got?" Albert hadn't had ice cream in a long time, since that was the first thing to go in the FAYZ. Though he was aware that this ice cream still wasn't real ice cream.

Sorry this took so long!!! Midterms/exams :(

He hadn't had ice cream in such a long time, before the all of the adults poofed. The first thing to go in The FAYZ was ice cream, that also meant a lot of upset stomachs for a bit. It didn't matter to him that the ice cream wasn't real, it tasted real.

"Oh, that is a good gimmick, drawing in customers by giving them a free sample so that they can return later. I will have vanilla ice cream," Albert decided out loud. Vanilla was a classic. He took a mental note of that business strategy.

There should be a manual for how to successfully make business partners, did business partners eat ice cream together? Or was that too informal. Could business partners be friends? Yup, he would go to the library again later.

Re: It's fine. I'm starting to just go slower in general. Trying to get more writing done.

Albert nodded and accepted the cone from the ice cream man, thanking him. "Business is important." He was kind of sad that there was just bartering here, but it did provide some amount of necessary transactions that helped his comfort level aboard Stacy.

Midterms are over :D

"Business involves the exchange of ideas and commodities. It is all about supply and demand and incentives. It is a natural part of society." Albert replied. "What about you, what do you like?" Albert was slowly starting to get used to socializing in a normal fashion.

haha, sorry about that x.x

"You may get along well with an acquaintance of mine from The FAYZ. He went by the name of Computer Jack. If you couldn't tell by his nickname, he loves computers and is a basic computer genius. If he pops I will be happy to introduce you to him." He read about this, this was known as making connections, or also known as networking.

Albert's forte was not computers, but he understood how nice it would be to have someone around with the same interests. He just hoped that he could find someone who could at least help him improve his business-savy. "In that case, I will definitely keep an eye out for him. Unfortunately, I don't know much about computers, so I can't really talk computers with you."
